Angelus takes his usual seat by the window, basking in the light of the sun as it streams through the necrotempered glass.

Today he seems relaxed and content with the world. He's also reading Yeats.

Jonathan who was SO not waiting outside enters Study Hall still in the digustingly good mood he was in this morning. He spots Angelus and decides to sit with him. Breaking custom, he doesn't ask first.

"Welcome home Angelus," he says, taking a seat across from him.

"Thank you kindly, Johnny," Angelus said, turning a page of his book. "How were things while I was gone? Anything interesting happen?"

"I'm assuming you haven't read this week's issue of The Tentacle and aren't just asking this in order to test my answer?" Jonathan asks smiling at Angelus.

"I had a bit of bad press this week in the Tentacle, but I'm really not all that worried."

"Ah yes, the porn," Angelus grinned. "Shame you can't make any money off of that."

Jonathan just smiles at that, "Unfortunately, but I fail to see why everyone's making a big deal out of it. People huh?"

"Can't says I've ever understood them," Angelus agreed. "Though that may have something to do with how I'm not a person."

"Definately part of what I like about you Angelus, definately part of what I like," he tells him.

"Logan Echolls also had a killer party," he says picking up the conversation from the beginning, "which means, I finally got to meet him. That was nice. I also got to meet Illyanna Rasputin, and that was a much more interesting experience. I'm not even going to ask, because I'm sure I'll find out eventually from her, but Ms. Valentine said something about her coming with us to Vegas? And my being expected to talk to her?"

"Illyana and Beka have a thing," Angelus said, fully aware of how ambiguous that answer was. "Beka asked for her to come with, I said fine. As for the talking to her part, I don't believe that's a requirement. Better not be as I'm not putting it in my day planner."

Belthazor walked into study hall, looking weary and distracted. He glanced around, searching for specific people, saw Angelus, and headed over to take a seat by him.

Angelus looked up when he came over. "Are you officially allowed to be out of bed, young man?"

Belthazor shrugged. "I don't know. Phoebe left early and my pass only said yesterday, so...." He dropped his voice. "Do you know what happened? It's all kinda fuzzy, and Phoebe had no idea."

"You picked a fight with Crowley so he put a whammy on you," Angelus said, as casually as if they were talking about fashion. "So I told him if he touches you again I'll rip the world apart just to see the look on his face."

"I did? You did?" Belthazor frowned, thinking. "That makes sense -- he was fucking with Beka and Tara and made some crack about Phoebe. I wanted to find out what it would take to get him to leave them alone. But it get hazy after that. I've been having dreams, though...."

Belthazor glanced up at the ceiling, then looked back at Angelus and shook his head.
