Janet opens up the library and quietly sips her coffee as she works.

"Thank you, Parker, Zero," said Janet triumphantly.

"See?" she said to Methos. "I'll even give you extra to take to your sweethearts if you decide you like them."

Parker is humming and looking at the ceiling now. Yup. Nice ceiling.

Janet gives Methos a wide-eyed, innocent look. "What? It's not like they're here to see the rest of us."

"I'm quite certain. If, of course, I knew who you were speaking of at all. All sorts of people come in and out of the library on a daily basis." Methos' offended tone would be ever so much more effective if he wasn't still somewhat giddy.

Parker snorts. "Suuuuure we do." Then she holds up her hands. "And if you want to kiss any of those other people in the stacks? That's just fine. Send up a flare if you get lost in there."
