Library is Open -- 11/7

The librarian is in an exceedingly good mood today, even if he's currently trundling books that still need to be shelved after the Quickening the freak lightning storm that hit the library a week and a half past. Even more surprising, his mood does not seem to be dependant on caffeine, as there is no mug on the Collections Desk since Janet someone broke it.

Parker gives Dr. Pierson a pleased smile. "I knew there was a benefit to being your minion." Then she turns back to Wesley.

"Apologize, O would-be-Merlin. Or we pull out the blasted heath scenario."

Wesley looks nervous. For all he knows, they are the Three Witches, although they haven't spoken in iambic pentameter yet.

"I apologize for having, in heat, spoken ill of your country. Now may I please have a library application?"

Parker cocks her head, and looks at Zero and Janet. "Nicely spoken. I think we can give him the paperwork. Now. Any objections?"

"Very eloquent," says Janet. She holds up the piece of paper she's been keeping behind the desk. "I have no objections. Blue or black ink, in modern English--we'll even accept U.K. spellings--no mentions of the words 'Chosen One' anywhere on the application, and filled out fully and completely."

She keeps the paper out of reach until she hears from Zero, however.

He pulls a fountain pen from the pocket of his blazer, fills in the form (blue-black ink, thanks) with as much haste as is compatible with wounded dignity, and departs.
