Fandom High Welcome Picnic, Front Lawn of the School, All Day: Part III

The lawn in front of the school was a little bigger than it had been at picnics in the past (thank you, people with positive memories), so there was plenty of space for the blue and gold tables and chairs that got pulled out for every event. A bonfire had been lit in the middle of the lawn, for those who weren't quite prepared for the east coast in December, and there were tables set away from the crowd as well, for those who might want a more quiet place to sit.

Loki had not yet been traumatized, so he was still enjoying the picnic.

That had odds of changing soon enough. But, for now, he sampled the feast. The puffs of the violent orange variety were quite good!

It might be kind of hard to answer, as Alex didn't really give him a chance to before swinging at him again.

Alex was certainly capable of using his brain enough to know that he didn't want Loki getting a magical attack off.

So he just tackled him to the ground and started punching. It was the only sensible thing to do.

Alex punched him a few more times for good measure, since he figured any second now he was going to get hauled off by the back of his shirt and he didn't want to waste it. "DON'T YOU TALK ABOUT MY MOTHER!"

Alex didn't even know her, but LOKI STILL DIDN'T GET TO TALK ABOUT HER.

Alex might have had some untapped precognitive powers hidden in his mind after all, because two punches in and Cable had grabbed him by, yes, the back of his shirt, and hauled him off like he barely weighed more than a piece of paper.

The metal arm was good for that kind of thing.

Loki scrambled up onto his feet, ignoring the bruises in order to look as imperious as the name 'Loki' granted him. "He started it!"
