The Danger Shop was set up like an old style movie theatre today, complete with ushers with popcorn and drinks in the aisles.

"Given that some of you have recently become parents, I figured we'd take things easy with a movie day today," Oz told them by way of greeting. "But not just any film. This is a hard hitting film about journalistic ethics, sexual jealousy, fraud, government corruptions, and frame-jobs. So I want you all to follow along closely and to deeply consider some of the issues raised."

"Ben's a little psycho," said Peter. Partly because of the time Ben had threatened to kill him if Ender ever asked him to, partly because the kid kept acting like he cared about what Peter was doing, and... totally not at all for a big part because he was dating Peter's brother, because Peter didn't care and didn't need any of his relatives, THANK YOU.

Peter figured Topher wouldn't pick up on any of that narrative, so he was safe to chew scenery in the confines of his own brain.

"Except maybe less than usual this week."

"You tried to ride Warren." You'd be forgiven for thinking that the way Peter reached for his mouth was a case of severe consternation or sympathy or whatever, but the truth was he was just trying to hide the hysterical laughter.

And then he breathed in the scent of the shirt, perhaps more loudly than he'd meant to. He was never taking it off. Never.
