Don't Be Evil [Friday, Second Period]

The Danger Shop was set up like an old style movie theatre today, complete with ushers with popcorn and drinks in the aisles.

"Given that some of you have recently become parents, I figured we'd take things easy with a movie day today," Oz told them by way of greeting. "But not just any film. This is a hard hitting film about journalistic ethics, sexual jealousy, fraud, government corruptions, and frame-jobs. So I want you all to follow along closely and to deeply consider some of the issues raised."

Natalie did not look impressed with the crying. Not at all.

Making the Danger Shop cry was just cruel.

How this was supposed to teach her not to be evil, Kate wasn't entirely sure, considering she was ready to stab some droid toddlers without even having one to have to babysit.

The danger shop's attempt at wailing loud enough to burst eardrums was enough.

After the fourth bout of crying, Peter was utterly sick and tired of the sound. He wasn't exactly an avid movie-watcher as it was, and this just made it worse.

When the Danger Shop itself started crying, though, he realized what Oz might just have done.

Okay, he had to admit - his teacher was a master at being evil, and you kind of had to respect that.

"Help me," a newly sideways-mohawked Topher whimpered to Peter once the crying started happening. "The noise. I can't. PLEASE."

He pulled the collar of Tony's shirt (yes, he was going to treasure it forever) up over his chin and started chewing on it.

Hangovers were evil.

"What the hell did you do to yourself?" Peter asked, at a volume that wasn't entirely intended for the currently-hungover.

He was taking notes on Oz's methods, see. Copious notes.

That would be Topher burying his entire head in the shirt to protect himself from the noise, thank you. At least it smelled nice in there.

Well, if you thought engine grease and very expensive liquor smelled nice.

"Ben cut my hair," he whimpered.

Yes. The mohawk was visible over the top of the shirt, Topher, thank you.

Yes. It looked completely terrible.

Oh, thank god. Movie day. Warren was just going to sink down into his chair and pretend not to exist for the rest of the class.

Until the room started crying. And then he was going to clamp his hands to the sides of his head and groan. No, he remarkably wasn't hung over. But there were some sounds that he just could not handle without wanting to beat his forehead against the seat in front of him.

"I want to," Warren moaned, shifting in his seat enough to be able to reach a wing up and clamp it against one side of his head, at least.

There. Slightly more muffled everything.

"I really, really want to."

"I can't live this way," he moaned. "I just. Can't. Do it."

Good thing he hadn't been by the dorm yet. Because there was droid vomit in his bed. Thank you, Miley.

"Still hung over, are you?"

It would be evil of Warren to be grimly satisfied about that. Pure evil.

He was past the point of caring.

Sam hadn't been paying a whole lot of attention to the movie. Honestly, the crying just meant she really wasn't going to be able to nap instead.

If she managed to figure out the source of said crying, there would be stabbing. Oh yes, there would be stabbing.

Topher was here, sporting a hangover, a sideways mohawk and Tony Stark's shirt.

Whether or not he was watching the movie was another thing entirely. Because he'd left his noise-cancelling headphones in the dorm and he wanted to cry.
