Today there was no Danger Shop. ONLY ZUUL Only a bunch of craft supplies and a whole lot of socks.

Yes. Socks.

Additionally there was a small puppet stage in the front of the classroom and a smiling Jamie Madrox.

"Is there anything more noble than the theater?" Jamie asked as the students settled down. "Sure. Feeding the poor. Teaching men to fish. Pro wrestling. But does they truly capture the drama that is the theater? No. It doesn't Today we'll be taking our own approach to theater using my favorite medium... the humble sock puppet."

Jamie gestured to the pile of socks and craft supplies. "Today you'll be creating your own sock puppets and then performing your own short skit. While you all prepare your sock puppets, I shall perform my own show for you to learn from."

And with that being said, Jamie reached into his own pocket and pulled out a sock puppet and put it on his hand.

"Hello, old friend," Jamie said with a smile.

"You're an effing moron," the puppet replied. "Where's the brothel with the pigmentally challenged hookers?"

"I've missed you too," Jamie replied. "Let's get started shall we?"

Mercy was concerned with where this might be going, but she settled in to make her own sock puppet. If it had big ears and teeth and looked a bit like a wolf, well...

Freddie was totally making a sock-Carly and sock-Sam. Because that was what friends did. Or something.

Cara wasn't so much making a puppet as glaring at the show in progress.

Clearly Jamie's characterisation was spot on.

Warren was going to make his puppet. Make his puppet and ignore the show, to the best of his ability. Ignoring, see? He could do it. Like a champ.

Somewhere halfway through the show, he hazarded a glance up.

By the big musical number, a googly-eye had slid off the puppet's face and landed, glue-first, in his lap.

He was too busy gaping to notice.

Seifer had set up the pack'n play, and let his droid baby play with a couple of bare socks while he worked on his creations.

It was kind of fun.

Squall drew two eyes on a sock with permanent marker, glued some yarn on the top for hair, and considered himself done.

Richie was not in any way making a sock puppet with a ponytail and a tiny sword. Except for how he totally was. Maybe he'd send it to Tessa. She'd be amused, at least. Mac would...not be. Oh well.
