Loki had...a special sort of class planned for today. Look, he had to get his entertainment somewhere and no one said this class was gonna be all about looking fucking slick and carrying weapons.

"So, this weekend is Halloween," Loki said, clapping his hands and looking devious. "And you know what that means, right? Candy, pranks, scary movies and some of the most awesome fucking costumes known to man."

Start fearing, kids. Start fearing right now.

"So, today, we're going to see how many of you can make the most ridiculous fucking costumes work," he announced gleefully. "You're going to put your costume on and fucking strut. If you work it, I'll give you some candy and you can leave early. If you don't, you stay in that costume the rest of the class. Now, you may be wondering how this helps you be a badass. One, you're going to have to compromise in an unexpected situation. Two, no one said everything was gonna be tailored suits and shiny shoes. Three, you're probably going to have to blend in at some point in your life and knowing how to work even the most ridiculous of outfits is helpful. Four, this will help you be less embarrassed by shit."

And it'd make him laugh.

"Also, I'm picking your costumes."

Oh yes. With that, he gestured at the rack of costumes behind him and started naming off names and which costumes they'd get to wear.

Kurt shrugged and climbed into his costume. One puff of smoke later, and BAMF! there was a really CREEPY-looking clown looming menacingly behind Loki.

"So, you're a clown," Loki said, impressed by the looming but not too impressed. "Gonna shoot water at me with a flower."

Kurt shook his head slowly -- or tried to. Because of the ridiculously huge mask, he ended up having to sort of sway his entire body to make the same point.

Then he tried an ominous chortle, but it came out sounding goofier than he'd meant it to.

Okay, Loki chuckled this time but he did have to give the kid credit for keeping up the character. "What's an evil clown gonna do to me?"

At that, Kurt had to take off the mask and gape at him. "Dude! Have you never seen Murderous Klowns From the Cosmos (http://fhmeta.wikia.com/wiki/Murderous_Klowns_From_the_Cosmos)?!?!?!"

"I have to admit, it's passed me by," Loki said and laughed. "Should I check it out?"

Kurt considered that. "Naaah. It's an AWFUL movie. But I'm gonna MAKE you watch it if you don't give me candy!"

Interesting tactic. "How you gonna do that, evil clown?"

"Ummmm..."

Kurt looked sheepish and just put the mask back on. Then he tried a spooky laugh again.

"Oh, evil clown, you're not doing so well," Loki laughed, shaking his head. "You wouldn't bribe me? Take me down with your evil clown skills?"

Kurt shook his head slowly, again.

He slowly lifted one hand, and then the other, showing Loki that they were empty, as if he were about to do a magic trick.

Then he lifted both hands, menacingly.

...And then there was a muffled bamf! and the costume started to collapse onto the ground, while Kurt reached around from the other side of Loki and tried to grab the candy.

Loki had to give him credit for originality there. He hadn't expected that and that was the only thing that stopped him from grabbing the candy bowl before Kurt.

So, congratulations Kurt, you managed to get the candy.

Kurt lifted his candy high, in celebration. "The Fuzzy Blue Elf strikes again!!!"

"Congratulations," Loki said and laughed. "That's one I didn't expect. So, you've got the candy and you're allowed to leave early. Nice job."
