Dogma: Fuck It! | Wednesday | Period 1
There was something oddly appropriate about having a class on giving the finger to every rule and principle you know first thing in the fucking morning. Sure, it meant Loki had to get up ass early but it also meant he got first crack at the students and they'd remember him during their other classes.
Today's class was meeting in the Danger Shop. It was all well and good to tell people how to go against their rules and guidelines but it was much more fucking fun to put it to practical use.
"Welcome to class," Loki said before he got the simulation started. "Authority's a real fucking thorn in the side, isn't it? Someone's always telling you what to do and what not to do. Someone's always trying to ruin your fucking fun because they don't want you to get hurt or maimed or pregnant or some shit like that. Fuck that shit. Not today."
Loki finally got the simulation going to reveal what looked like a regular shopping mall complete withmoddable stores and food establishments, random NPC shoppers, benches, fountains, a merry go round, elevators, escalators and other mundane things you would find in a mall. Right now, the mall was busy as hell.
"We're in a mall," Loki said, arms spread. "It's a typical hangout for teenagers who don't have shit better to do so that's what you're going to do today. Hang out. Get into fucking trouble while hanging out. Don't be pansies and just sit and eat ice cream. Cause fucking mayhem! Make trouble! Live a fucking little. But, there's security wandering around this mall and ever since they failed out of the police academy, they've been dying to prove their worth. They want to bust you. So, watch out for that and be prepared if that happens. Have a fucking backup plan. Good? Go."
With that, Loki disappeared and set the students loose in the mall.

Class Activity | Authority [D!FI 05/19]
I'll be tossing security at random people when I can but, until then, feel free to have fun with each other, alone, or anything else you'd like!
Re: Class Activity | Authority [D!FI 05/19]
He barely noticed; compared to a crowd of vikings, these guys were amateurs.
Hiccup stepped onto the moving stairs, then stopped, causing a pile up of people behind him who obviously thought moving stairs were for walking up.
"We have got to get some of these for the village." Cue the weird looks. "And now I'm talking to myself, and all these people are staring at me." Cue the weirder looks. Hiccup didn't care, he was too busy hanging off the side and staring down at everything.
And that would be why he didn't notice the stairs were disappearing into the floor until it was almost too late. And that would be why he was left scrabbling for balance as he tried to hop off, inadvertently kicking the big red button with his metal foot as he made it to safety.
It was a textbook perfect example of the domino effect, innocent escalator-goers tumbling back down the no-longer-moving stairs, unhurt but pissed off. "Oops." He smiled uncertainly and started to back away. Quickly. "Viking, sorry. We're known for causing mayhem. It's an occupational hazard."
It wasn't breaking the rules, at least not on purpose, but then Hiccup had never needed to try to cause rule-breaking and resultant havoc. It just seemed to happen.

But she did spy a Hot Topic and decided to browse. Shhhh.

She wasn't exactly making trouble, but it wasn't like she was the five-fingered discount type to start with.

The first thing he did was find a clothing shop and slipped inside. After making sure no one was looking, he pulled out a black marker and started marking down prices.

Eventually, he started making his way over.

Assuming he could find a decent hiding spot, out would come his phone. His phone of tricks. "Now what is the frequency of the pa system I wonder?"

His hand gestures just so happened to put him in contact with Gabrielle's, er, bilious green sports bra. As for his spiked bracelets and piercings, could she help it if she knew a lot of warlords and wannabe warlords who dressed that way too?
"Hey, hey!" Gabrielle barked, swatting at his hands with her (luckily still empty) tray. "Not the merchandise, pal! What does this look like to you, huh? Huh? A food court, or a brothel?"

"Everything's under control here," she assured him sweetly, then in a lower tone (this would be Gabrielle attempting to sound like Xena, key word attempting), "I can handle one guy trying to be fresh with me."

She was watching folk as much as the stores and it didn't take long afore she noticed a gixie in one of the clothes stores shoving a shawl in her purse. Mayhap 't wasn't what Loki had meant with causing mayhem, but a Dog'll be a Dog and when the gixie tried to run past the blaring alarm, Beka tripped her up.
Re: Class Activity | Authority [D!FI 05/19]
"What's the trouble here?" he asked panting.

... And truth be told, he kind of did just want to sit around eating ice cream like a pansy. He liked ice cream.
And so his idea of causing trouble was pulling the puppy face in hopes of scoring extra sprinkles from the cute girl with the ice cream scoop.

That's right. Sookie was going to sit at the edge of a fountain and steal pennies out of it. Just try and stop her. She couldn't even keep a lookout telepathically, since she could only read real brains and not fake simulation ones.
So daring.

Helen set Kianah free to slip her way into places and steal away small objects and bring them back to her stealthily.

Then he started visiting stores, stealing expensive-looking things, and dropping them off via teleport onto the security guards' desks. When they weren't looking, of course.
