Outdoor Fitness and Strategy [Monday, Period One]

"Good morning," Bond began after the class had finished arriving. "This is the last week of classes, which also makes it your final. Rather than go for some fiendishly complex plot that involves no small level of risk to your collective person, we'll be doing something fairly simple instead."

Please note that simple was not quite the same thing as easy.

"We'll be revisiting the exercises that you all did in the first class. If at the end of the class you've shown improvement on your results from those, however slight, that will count as a pass."

"Now, who's up for some laps of the school for a warm up?"

[ooc: wait for ocd up.]

Kyle had improved from the beginning of the semester and he had more upper body strength than he'd had in his whole life. Amazing how you could build muscles when you had a regular source of decent protein that wasn't two day old coyote.

Kyle's flexibility still wasn't great in his legs. He could run like the wind, but his hamstrings were tight.

The endurance run was where Kyle was at his best. It wasn't so long compared to what he'd done in the past, and he went running of a morning pretty often, so he kept a brisk pace and got around and back in good time.

Kyle spent the class doing all the activities, so he was around if anyone wanted to talk to him about anything.

Gwynn was more than happy to have something physical to focus on right now.

Gwynn had definitely improved from the beginning of the year. It helps that she had somehow managed to stick to a training and work-out regiment, too. Not to mention those visits home.

This was actually the part of the final that Gwynn enjoyed most. Going out for a run and shoving things out of her head in order to enjoy it was a nice way to spend some time.

Gwynn already knew she was flexible, but a task like this helped her work on the places that she needed to. It wasn't possible to be too flexible, was it?

...not dirty.

Jonas kept his jog slow and casual so as not to wear himself down too much before the actual final exam.

Jonas showed some improvement in the crunches and push ups section but he was still lanky and thin so pull ups proved a little more difficult and he stayed pretty much the same during the final as he had at the beginning of the year.

Jonas was not that flexible at all. He was all arms and legs, lanky and long limbed so these exercises showed slight improvement but not much.
