Library [03/07]

It was just another day in the library, damn it.

Jono had heard the radio last night, yes, and he was well aware that the entire island had gone absolutely barking mad, but, come hell or high water, he was going to do his best to make certain that today was just another day in the library, damn it.

... Mostly, this involved playing Farmville.

A pause, and then he squinted a little. This bloke looked remarkably like one of the teachers, didn't he? Huh.

He waved a hand, vaguely indicating the other bloke's jumping about.

"It's not a bother," Davy assured him, jumping away to his apartment in New York, filling up a glass of water and returning. "See?"

That was most definitely a glass of water. And now Jono was torn. Should he just take the blasted thing and humour the boy? It certainly seemed the easiest way to do things.

Jono... accepted the glass. And he eyed the glass. And then he sighed and shook his head.

//Yes. This is certainly water,// he agreed. //Very well done. Thank you.//

And then he set it down on the desk.

Well, he wasn't about to dump it over his own head, was he?

"Are you making fun of me?" Davy demanded.

He then felt the overwhelming need to stand up, lean forward, reach out, and give Davy a pat on the head. There would have been a lollipop involved, if he'd had one handy.
