Library Open - 10/17

Wait, could it be the librarian? Apparently, he's decided that he's going to be vivisected for accidentally attacking a student, and has shown his nose face at school again. He swings open the doors and settles behind the collections desk. He's got an MP3 player and earphones and is tapping away on the computer.

RC enters the library and runs her fingers along a line of books on human psychology. She finds the one she's looking for and opens it up. What remains of the human Samantha Carter in her likes the ability to read words slowly instead of download information directly into her systems. She smiles and leans against the shelf.

Janet eyes Eighth warily and wonders what the hell she's doing in that section.

And then she sneezes.

"Kleenex?" RC says as she offers a tissue.

"Uh, thanks," says Janet, accepting the tissue gingerly. She sneezes again and blows her nose, then throws the tissue away. Wow. Talk about awkward. "Sorry about the window," she says. Well, she's been apologizing to everyone else for Hathor's actions, so why not the evil Replicator adult twin of her best friend?

*looks up, blinks, and pulls an earbud out of his ear* Zero... did you know your hair was pink?

Yeh. It was deliberate. *holds out a cup of coffee*

Janet walks in the library, scanning the area warily for flowers and, finding none, she goes to toss her backpack behind the desk. She keeps ahold of the box of tissues because as she sits down, she sneezes five or six times.



OOC: Did you ever want to finish that conversation? Or not bother and move on? If so I'm going to have Janet have waited in your apartment for something like ten, fifteen minutes, then get irritable and walk out, slamming the door behind her.

OOC: Cranky pretty much always wins the day where Janet's concerned. Besides, we were pretty much right next door to Daniel's apartment, so her frustration tolerance was low.

Janet sneezes as she waves hello, then grabs a tissue and blows her nose.

Elizabeth waves at Janet as she enters the library. "All flowers have been taken care of," she says, before heading towards the stacks.

"829.3," she repeats to herself, muttering under her breath.

Janet sneezes and waves at Liz.

She give Methos a quick glare, sneezes again and blows her nose before sitting down and starting to check in returned books.

Methos winces at the memory of inviting Janet back to his place and then falling asleep in between the bathroom and the bedroom (http://www.livejournal.com/users/prof_methos/5492.html).

He was still puzzling over what he'd talked to Daniel Jackson about earlier (http://www.livejournal.com/community/fandom_lounge/8768.html?thread=100160#t100160). Some of what Daniel said made no sense from the point of view of someone who had lived through part of the Egyptian period. But it wasn't as though he could argue eyewitness evidence.

[CJ walks in to see if Adam is around. Spying him, not jamming to the Violent Femmes, she touches him lightly on the shoulder]

*looks up, smiles and yanks the earbuds out*

CJ. How are you? I heard some alarming things about what happened on Friday. Are you okay?

I'm fine, Adam. Angry...but fine. [looks at his earbuds] what are you listening to?
