Library Open - 10/17

Wait, could it be the librarian? Apparently, he's decided that he's going to be vivisected for accidentally attacking a student, and has shown his ~~nose~~ face at school again. He swings open the doors and settles behind the collections desk. He's got an MP3 player and earphones and is tapping away on the computer.

Janet faintly remembers that voice. One of the other students?

"Do I know you?" asked Janet incredulously, trying to ignore the fact that she was talking to a beach ball.

At this school, it could always get weirder.

*stops bouncing for a moment, and rolls sideways*

Janet has vague memories of a red--no, pink--maybe blonde-haired girl drawing on library card applications. Maybe that's her? "Hi," she says uncertainly. "Nice to see you again."

*Is smiling, but perhaps that goes without saying at the moment*

*rolls over and starts bouncing again*

Janet would be positive the candy and chocolate covered espresso beans are affecting her mind, but Parker and Zero see the beach ball girl too. "We did," she says, nodding. "But it got ruined in the zombie soup."

This place has driven me officially nuts. I think.

She pops some more espresso beans in her mouth and starts chewing. "If you could make us another one, that'd be nice. But how are you going to manage without hands?"

[Not beach-ball, but definately Del. I even accidentally channeled her while making her hair. Three cans of spray-paint and no mask. Whee!

Oh yes, many pictures. I have to head back to the Buffalo Exchange (http://www.buffaloexchange.com) and get this awesome huge blue ballerina skirt I saw there yesterday. Hope it's still there...]

Parker looks at Delirium with wary suspicion. "Fraiser? Which one of us is hallucinating?"

Janet shakes her head slowly. "I don't know. Are you looking at a talking beach ball too?"

"Yes," Parker says, deadpan.

"So either we're both hallucinating, or... A beach ball is talking to us." She nods calmly, then says, "Right. My brain is officially broken. Because I'm about to ask if the beach ball has a library card?"

"I think the beach ball drew all over ~~her~~ ~~its~~ the library card applications we kept giving...her." Janet blinked at the beach ball. "Pretty pictures, even. We had them tacked up behind the desk until the AV Club kid flooded the library during zombie weekend." Janet shrugged helplessly. "Or maybe Zero got her a library card eventually?"

"'kay." Parker said agreeably. "I'll be over here, listening to my brain melt, if you need help."

She's a student...normally.

"And I thought the pink klepto-bunny was weird. I should know better than to try to set a bar for this place." Parker looks over at Del and adds, "No offense. You're a very... bouncy ball. Nice job."

Janet absently offers Parker a candy and chocolate covered espresso bean. Then she remembers Parker's ulcer and whips the candy back before she can take any. "Sorry."

*glowers* *grimaces*

"Did tell you that among other fun things, O'Neill gave me candy-covered coffee beans? I don't know whether to kill him or kiss him for that, because I don't know if he knew I was trying to go off caffiene too."

*Knows that voice. Has tried to wring sense out of that voice*
