Francine had trekked out to the park early to put up signs at the usual meeting place that matched the ones on the library doors:

Please come in and help research anything you can find about vampires, alternate universes, narcolepsy, sleep visions, or anything else that seems like it might help!

There was also a worried Francine with a brand new hairstyle (for those who haven't been dreaming of other places, anyway) hovering back and forth between the books and the food.

It was a nearly giddy Elle that approached the girls, a folded map held in her hands. "I think I found something!"

Francine smiled hopefully at her. "Really? What've you got?"

"A map," Elle said, unfolding it. "Looks like the catacombs. A map to a device, if I'm reading this thing and the notes on it right."

And again with stuff Layla had known, though she hadn't said who would find it. "Layla said this was here, but I don't think she knew where." Francine spread the map out on the table. "Under the school. This is what moved the island around last summer, I think - it would just disappear overnight and we'd wake up in some other part of the world."

"Oh, that is so weird," Elle said. "But... do you think this might help? I mean, it might, right? If we could get the island to move someplace sunny, that'd make the vampires go poof, wouldn't it?"

Francine's momentary frown of concentration, trying to process that idea, faded to widened eyes. "Sunlight, yeah. Tara said that's one of the things that kills this kind of vampire." And if that made her think again of how she'd seen another way demonstrated, the excitement of understanding Elle's idea pushed it to the back of her mind. "If the other island works like ours..."

"Which, since it's another Fandom, it probably does." Elle looked at the map. "And if it does work like here... maybe this would tell them how to find the device there."
