Francine had trekked out to the park early to put up signs at the usual meeting place that matched the ones on the library doors:

Please come in and help research anything you can find about vampires, alternate universes, narcolepsy, sleep visions, or anything else that seems like it might help!

Jack gave her a long look, wondering if she realized what she knew. "Tara," he said deliberately, "you're the resident expert on this particular breed of vampire." He held up his hand to forestall whatever stuttering objection she was about to make. "Let's you and I sit here and make a list of everything we think might contain or harm them and give it to Francine."

Still, she pulled out paper and started writing. With Jack's contributions, they quickly had a short but potent list.
