Francine had trekked out to the park early to put up signs at the usual meeting place that matched the ones on the library doors:

Please come in and help research anything you can find about vampires, alternate universes, narcolepsy, sleep visions, or anything else that seems like it might help!

There was also a worried Francine with a brand new hairstyle (for those who haven't been dreaming of other places, anyway) hovering back and forth between the books and the food.

Elle didn't know what the hell was going on, but she knew it was something Not Right, and thusly she wanted to know what the hell it really was.

Which was why she was parked in the library, pouring over a book.

Claire sat near Elle and gave the other girl a weak smile. "Find anything yet?"

Elle shook her head. "Nothing," she said, sounding a little disgruntled. "This is so not cool." She lightly thumped a book to emphasize that she meant the lack of finding and not the situation at large. Because everyone already knew that wasn't cool at all.

"I don't know what the hell I'm doing here," Elle said, still disgruntled. "I'm apparently not very good with this helping thing." She turned another page in one of the books she'd laid claim to.
