Fashion! Etc., Etc., Etc. [Thursday, June FOURTH, FOR REAL, 1st period]
Edna was practically buried under a pile of costumes, only her sensible yet fabulous shoes showing, as she entered the Danger Shop. "Today we try on what you have designed! I finished them up for you--no need to thank me, not that you would, ungrateful teenagers that you are--and I have also brought in a rack of weapons that don't work so don't try to kill each other with them please. Put on your outfits, prance around, do a little turn on the catwalk--" yes, there was a small runway, "and ask each other for advice. Because yes, some of these outfits will make your butts look big. Best to know now before we make the final project with the good fabric."
Spandex and hormones. What a fantastic combination!

partly because it hadn't been played out yet. He was also trying to fit into his skin-tight spandex, and while he managed that part, the armor was still very much a hypothetical.Nice reds and yellows, Arthur.
He hated everyone.

And then tried to look as innocent as possible.
It wasn't working.

When she realized she was humming "Damn, Wish I Was Your Lover" she put her head down on the desk for a good ten minutes until she could hum "Re: Your Brains" in order to think again.

She put on her costume with a minimum fuss, doing her very best to make sure she didn't slice it open with an errant fingernail.

Still, she was glad she'd gone with Jenny's suggestion to add color - dark blue pants were just a better idea, and the matching jacket just made the white of her top (and skin) stand out nicely.
She was just going to focus on how nice she looked, and try to block out the very loud and annoying people. Emma didn't have much patience in the first place, but for some reason what little she did have was running very thin today.

And it was so....gah. Tight. In ways that given last night or the lack thereof were distressing. In not entirely unpleasant ways, but distressing.
Francine would just be walking around with her hand glued to her face. Even Tawny Madison wouldn't wear this.

twitteredchirpedsaid when saw Francine's costume. "Really cute!" Then she paused and added, "In a superheroine way, I promise."Re: Dress up!

All the better for contractual appearances. The spandex he was wearing -- he had ended up taking Edna's suggestion of 'Ghost', back from that first class, for his 'hero' name, and his final design suited -- was black through the torso and the legs, with the arms a deep shade of gray, light enough to create contrast against the rest of the suit, but dark enough to blend into shadows. The collar was high and modeled in the Mandarin style (http://www.dancepants.com/images/Chinese_Collar_web.jpg), with a near-invisible fastening running from the bottom of the collar to mid-torso; it could be done up, normally, to hide George's pale skin and his silver Star of David, but today, in class, he'd found it a bit too warm and so left it open. On either side of the collar was a small, blood-red pip, like eyes in the darkness.
There was a belt at his waist, in a gray that matched his sleeves; from it hung an empty holster and a belt-pouch.
"Honestly," he asked, "do I look silly?"
