Edna was practically buried under a pile of costumes, only her sensible yet fabulous shoes showing, as she entered the Danger Shop. "Today we try on what you have designed! I finished them up for you--no need to thank me, not that you would, ungrateful teenagers that you are--and I have also brought in a rack of weapons that don't work so don't try to kill each other with them please. Put on your outfits, prance around, do a little turn on the catwalk--" yes, there was a small runway, "and ask each other for advice. Because yes, some of these outfits will make your butts look big. Best to know now before we make the final project with the good fabric."

Spandex and hormones. What a fantastic combination!

"... That bad?" George asked, dismayed, completely misinterpreting the 'Um'.

"Kind of James Bund meets ~~meta for~~Sherlock Holmes and somehow not silly at all," Dinah managed to babble, then snapped her mouth shut, turning red. "But maybe that's just me?" Headrush. Bad, mal, kriffing, all the words she'd learned from people here so far, buzzzzz.

George frowned. "That's... a good thing, then?" he asked. "I mean, I don't really actually have a logo or anything. Does it work without one?"

"Mmmhmm!" Dinah nodded hard, hands behind her back so as not to reach out and fiddle with the neckline. And touch his collarbones. No, no. "Um. Maybe you could repeat the pattern on the neckline, on the belt...." Okay. Get your eyes off the belt area, Dinah. And anything lower. This is George and he's nice and maybe doesn't want to be ogled by you.

"You think?" George asked, looking down, tracing the idea of two pips on the belt with his fingers. "I'm not sure," he continued. "You don't think it might be a little much?"

Okay, now see, he wanted her to look there, so there was no badness! Dinah tilted her head sideways, surfing another wave of hormone rush. "Hmmmm. No. I mean. It's just." Think. Breathe. Think. Dinah bit her lip, trying to think. "Accents. People won't notice, except subconsciously." And give him an up-and-down look. Like now.

"Huh. Okay." He grinned at Dinah, gave her a very slight up-and-down, too. "You're looking very nice today, too, Dinah," he said. "That outfit suits you."

"Really?" Dinah brightened, standing straighter. "The yellow isn't too silly?" She sent a glare Edna's way. "Or childish?"

George shook his head. "No, I like it," he assured her. "You look... pretty."

"Thanks," Dinah said, one foot behind the other, and shrugged her shoulders in some embarassment. Beautiful was always kind of over-the-top, she felt, but pretty was just... really cool to hear. "You look really good in that. Really."

Flushing a bit, George said, "Thanks," as well. "The spandex isn't... too tight or anything? I almost feel like I'm not wearing anything."

Be good, be good, be goooood. Wait. What would Tawny Madison do?

"Why don't you turn around?" Dinah said, eyes wide in thought. "I mean, it looks okay from the front, but if it's tight, across the shoulders or the spine...." Or the butt. C'mon, George. "Just a little spin?"

George obliged, showing off how, in fact, the spandex was very tight across his arse. And this was not a bad thing. "Is it okay?" he said, when he'd turned to face her again.

"Mmm? Yup!" Dinah grinned happily at him. Wow. George had a really nice bod. Who knew? With the way he usually dressed, how could anyone know? "No, um. Wrinkles or anything that look wrong. Annnd the fit looks... fine." Was it getting warmer in here again?

"Perfect," George replied. "Your turn, now. C'mon, turn around!"

The blush was working its way up from her cleavage to her eyebrows, was what it felt like, and she still wasn't sure if George was interested or just nice. Forget it, and just twirl, Lance. So Dinah did a little ANTM step-spin-pose, (http://pics.livejournal.com/blondecanary/pic/0000kkhz) (with the yellow piping on the sides and utility belt with the bird of prey logo) and then had to laugh at herself. She flipped the bolero jacket with the yellow darts over her shoulder, and grinned at George. "Too many reality model shows, I had to do it."

The look that George was giving her -- just this side of appropriate, and barely even that; he was practically salivating -- should definitely indicate whether or not he had any interest. "Definitely fits right," he managed to say. "And the spin looked great."

That look? Was worth an internal yay! Also, kind of dizzy-making. Cute, nice guy, looking at her like she was... Whoa. Forget Tawny Madison, what would Helena do right now?

Right, they'd both get Detention if Dinah did that. Think!

"Thanks," Dinah managed, kind of breathless. Not Tawny-breathless, real-breathless. "You don't think the heels are too high? Or, um." Cue more blushing. No, no way to ask about the rest of the fit. "You can see me fighting bad guys in it?"

George could only nod. "Absolutely," he said. "I think you could do anything in that."

"Thanks, George." Dinah looked down, giving the gleeful grin to their shoes. She looked up and pointed to the zipper on his costume. "Maybe-- I, you should--" She reached for it, to tug it up to his neck. "Just to see how it looks?"

"Uh, sure," George said, obliging. He pulled it up, the zipper hiding behind a cunningly designed covering. If anything, it looked even better that way, emphasising George's chest, stretching over it in just the right way to make it look better than it was.

Dinah left her hand on said chest. Warm. Very solid. She ran her thumb up and down the zipper at his throat, then blinked, realizing what she was doing, and cleared her throat. "Um. Looks good!"

George felt warmth flood through him, and a reaction that he really didn't want to have happen while he was wearing spandex. "Um. Um. Thanks?" he said, mumbling a bit. "I think I'm going to go change back."
