Since the area with all the informational signs was bound to get a bit clogged up, even more tables and chairs had been set up on the lawn, in a slightly different spot.

"Ahhhh.... Is that kind of thing... normal here?" he asked. His left hand was always near his sword, but it strayed infinitesimally closer.

"Coupla times a year, apparently. But, hey, don't worry about it -- half the students here are superheroes."

Pause.

"What's a 'superhero'?"

"Like what?"

Hair-dying wasn't exactly a big thing, where (and when) he came from.

A little self-consciously, Kenshin ran a hand through his fringe, and wondered why hair dye had never occurred to him - or any of his superiors; almost anything would stand out less than red.
