As much as he'd enjoyed being on spring break, Sam was glad to be back in the library, and didn't have any trouble getting settled back in after a week away.

Sam took some time to clean up the desk area, for himself and for the rest of the aides.

Sam got onto the computer, and went to check his e-mail. He hadn't touched his inbox in a few days, and he was almost afraid to see how much spam would be there.

Sam wandered through the stacks in search of a book to read in the afternoon.

Sam had cookies for Dean if/when he came by for lunch.

Sam had found a nice, thick book to read, and was settled back in at the desk.

Sam took a quick sweep through the library to make sure everything was clean before he had to head out.

*shakes coffee cup* Work, darn you!

Peter came in at the usual time. "This sucks."

"Hello to you too," Sam said, marking his page before looking at Peter with concern. "What sucks?"

"This." Peter put their coffee and donuts down on the counter so that he could properly focus his attention on giving Sam sad eyes. "Being back at school instead of on the boat. Completely sucks."

"Awww, it's not so bad," Sam said sympathetically. "At least here we don't have to worry about getting seasick?"

"But we're not sharing a room anymore," Peter said, pouting. "That sucks."

"That was really nice," Sam admitted with a smile. "You know you're always welcome in my room. We can share it whenever you want."

"I got spoiled," Peter admitted. "It was nice going to sleep and waking up with you there."

"Yeah, it was really nice. I always sleep better when you're there," Sam said. "That's why I like having you sleep over here."

"I could do it more often if you wanted," Peter said.

"I wouldn't mind that at all," Sam said with a grin. "You could sleep over every night and it'd be fine with me."

"You say something like that and I might take you up on it," Peter pointed out.

"I wouldn't say it if I didn't want you to take me up on it," Sam replied. "You know, if you ever wanted to."

"Kinda might," Peter told him.

Dean came in with tupperware containers filled with macoroni and cheese. "Sorry, it doesn't have any green bits," he said with a smirk as he handed one to Sammy.

Priestly came in not long before closing, moving a bit stiffly.

He'd been considering waiting to see about catching Sam at cheerleading practice, but the library seemed less likely to lead to total mortification if he had to admit what happened last night, so. . . .

"Heyyyyy Sam."

"Kinda?" Sam asked.

"More than kinda?" Peter amended.

"It doesn't need green bits," Sam said, trading the container for some cookies. "It's just a bonus if there are some."
