Phys Ed: Week 1, Period 1 (Fri. 1/9)

When students arrived, they would find the Danger Shop was set up like a traditional gymnasium, complete with changing rooms and really high ceilings.

Most of the gym floor was covered in thick, blue mats, with the enormous, body-sinking-type mats stacked underneath three ropes that dangled from the ceiling. Next to these ropes stood a giant of a man who also happened to be the gym teacher.

"I'm Ronon Dex and this is Physical Education or P.E.," Ronon smiled as he looked around at his students, noting familiar faces and cataloging new ones. "Okay, first class gets the intro thing, but only after you introduce yourself to the rope." He gestured the thumb of one fist toward the three ropes in question, which students would note differed only in how many knots were tied in them and how high up on the rope lay a wide red line. "Climb to the red line and slide back down." Ronon grabbed hold of the rope with his large hands and swung himself quickly up to the top moving hand over hand until he touched the red line. Sliding most of the way down quickly, Ronon leaped back to the ground and wiped his hands on his leather pants.

"Should be easy enough, but first you need a uniform. Last semester, some students stole and burned the uniforms at the end. All that means for you is you don't have to wear anybody else's old stuff. Lucky. Now, go suit up and meet me back here in five." Ronon crossed his arms, expecting them to move, and fast.

Priestly took a good long look at his uniform and wondered if he could rip the sleeves out of the shirt.

At least he'd gone with red and blue for the mohawk, so the outfit didn't clash too much.

Adam put on the uniform, figuring it could be worse. At least it fit. He'd probably like them better if they were green. Oh, well.

In comparison to some of the other uniforms Ender had worn, these weren't that bad. Stuff that didn't fit was also not really new, so he made due easily.

He looked faintly ridiculous.

Gavin had been wearing uniforms for about a year now. This didn't phase him. Well, it wouldn't phase him as long as it didn't rip in bad places.

Molly couldn't help sneering at the clothes before putting them on, even if they didn't look completely terrible.

Not that she'd tell anyone that.

Claire stared at the uniforms for a long, long moment.

"...No."

But she sucked it up and pulled one on in the end. It could be worse.

Anemone made a face, but put on the uniform anyway.

It was a bit too big, since anything long enough for her legs was far too wide around the waist, and she felt ridiculous. Whomever had burned these last semester had the right idea.

Ben stared at the uniform for a long, long time, swallowing hard.

He didn't have problems with wearing a uniform--hell, he switched between two as the only things he ever wore--but he didn't want people staring at his scars.

In the end, he scrambled out of one outfit and into the other in record time. His eyes dared anyone to mention the red lines still visible on his arms and legs.

Éowyn stared at the clothes she'd been given, and wondered where the rest of the outfit was. When she saw the others get dressed, she realized that's all there was, and tried not to get flustered.

... Reno had this thing. Against shorts. It probably had something to do with that one time that Fandom had changed all his pants into Bermuda shorts, and then Rikku had laughed at his scrawny legs.

No, it had everything to do with his scrawny legs. Dammit.

Grumbling to himself, he changed into the uniform. Ugh. Shorts.

Momoko was not as bad as some when it came to fashion, and she was used to gym uniforms as a whole, but these were... definitely different and not cute at all. Her first reaction was simply to stare in utter disbelief. Finally she came to and, against every desire she had, changed from her (cute!) outfit to the uniform. Surprisingly it mostly fit. But, UGH!

"Everyone's wearing one, everyone's wearing one, everyone's wearing one..." She chanted under her breath as she put her Power belt back on and wandered out to join the others.

"Oh, mal," Jill muttered as she dressed in her uniform. "Oh mal, mal, mal." She really didn't remember signing up for phys ed, but hey, this was crazy school. It figured her player someone in the office would stick her in here to torment her.

Worf stepped up to the rope without knots and climbed up it in record time using only his hands.

He then dropped down to the floor with a loud thump and glared at any of the students as if daring them to top that.

Uniform description: The shirts are blue with gold 'Property of Fandom High P.E. Department' lettering across the chest. The shorts are blue drawstring with FHS in gold lettering across the bottom. So attractive, omg. Feel free to mod them fitting poorly or really well. There were always those kids who looked good in anything.
