BWI Airport, Portalocity Port, Saturday Morning

Spirit's ride to the island had been settled and Adora was trying very hard not to be nervous while she waited for the Fandom transport to arrive. Looking out the airport window, Adora realized she'd never seen so many fleets of vehicles in all her life that weren't involved in some sort of insurrection, and found herself desperately hoping her mother was right about this Earth place being safe from the Horde.

Just the thought of her family calmed Adora and she instinctively reached to touch the Sword of Protection where it was hidden by her hair and clothing, feeling that no matter where she was, she always had a way to contact the people she loved.

Now if only she knew for sure that this room marked "Fandom High" was really where she needed to be. Adora paced the large space as she waited, thinking she couldn't possibly be the only new student journeying to campus in this manner.

There was a tired and jetlagged Deadpool waiting with a sign that read Fandom High Students in big bold letters.

And, if you read closely, there might have been something scribbled beneath it about abandoning hope all ye who enter. With more than a few extra e's to make it more spooky and Olde English like.

Emmett barely remembered to duck his head down as he got onto the shuttle. These things needed to be more tall-person compatible.

He took a seat in the front, next to the driver who looked like a flamboyant ninja. "Hey, dude! What kind of jams you got in here?"

"It is some kind of weird outfit school," Priestly said under his breath.

Of course, the fact that the driver was wearing a weird outfit gave him hope for avoiding the horribleness of blue blazered uniforms.

Amazed by this curious man and his mask, Adora wondered if he, too kept a secret identity.

"Deadpool," he supplied helpfully. "I'll be your Vice Principal. Which means I'll be... Vice Principaling. I'm not actually all that clear on my other duties still. I got a new office, though. So... I got that going for me."

"Um...." Dinah stared, wondering if he were (a) some kind of superhero? Maybe Barbara would know him? (b) Some kind of psycho? (c) Some kind of kidnapper, come to hold them for ransom? Or (d) some kind of test by the teachers to try and break their brains?

"It's kind of a good look for you?" Dinah said, feeling this was weak, but really, it was pretty intimidating, so hey, points for taking control of the situation through fashion. "I just, um. I'm wondering if you're beating up ninjas in a back alley later." And hearing this come out of her mouth, she facepalmed.

It's not like the costume was that much more flamboyant than other outfits he'd seen. It was practically humble compared to the white robe with gold detailing Master Lucien wore.
