When the students arrived in class, they found a basket full of adorable, plush shapes just inside the doorway. Edward instructed each of them to grab the plushie of their choice when they came in.

Once the students were seated, Edward dimmed the lights and began. He used a slide show and talked about sexually transmitted diseases. He used a number of slides showing the effects of these diseases in full color.* He did mention the role of condoms in prevention, but he emphasized that abstinence was the only way to completely be safe.

When the lights came back up, he had one of each of the plushies in front of him. "These are my gift to you as a reminder of today's lesson. They are oversized representations of the microbes that cause some of the diseases we've discussed. The yellow is herpes, the pink is syphillis, the blue is gonorrhea, the black is HIV and the purple is the relatively mild mono."

"Now please find your fellow sufferers and we'll do a game of STD Roulette."

"Damn, that one sucks," she said, eyes a little wide.

"Let's keep fingers crossed we never run across it," Angela said.

"...and the boys we're with as well," she gave a little nod of her head, her grin more of a smirk.

Angela laughed. "Now for that, I'd actually need a guy. Which I'm kinda lacking right now."

"Are you interested in one?" she asked, conversationally curious.

"Are we talking specifics, or just boys in general?" Angela checked.

"A specific boy," she asked, smiling.

Angela laughed, "Not really. I'm... more the dating around type than the narrowing down to specifics."

"Ah, the more fishies in the sea kind of approach. I like it." Except that Amber wasn't doing it.

"One day, obviously, I'll learn to go in for the long term," she said with a grin. "Right now, I'd settle for a date for homecoming."

"I don't think you'll have a problem there, Angela. You are drop dead gorgeous," she said with conviction and not at all thinking that sentiment applied to Becky Leeman.

"There are plenty of single guys out there. But now I'm wondering... Cal just doesn't dance. I wonder if he'll ask me to homecoming."

Angela grinned, "Aw, thank you, Sweetie. I hope you're right."

"As for you and Cal," she said. "I hear now is the time for feminists. If he doesn't ask you, you can ask him."

"I hope I'm right too," she grinned.

"Cal's kind of stubborn. If he doesn't want to do something, he flat out won't. If he doesn't ask me however, I guess I'll have to threaten him."

"My kind of girl," Angela said with a laugh. "Threaten him with what, exactly?"

"I'll find someone else to take me to the dance," she laughed. "But if that doesn't work, I'll have to threaten him with my pout. It's not that effective, but hopefully it will move him."

"Pouts are always effective," Angela claimed. "All part of our feminine wiles toolkit."

"Yah, I'm still learning about that toolkit," she admitted with a wry chuckle.

"Pouts, smoldery looks, and your boobs," Angela said. "Your three, or five if you're being picky, main ways of getting just what you want."

Not that Angela made use of these or anything... Or maybe she did. It was fun. At least she hasn't got the stage of flashing desk clerks yet.

"My boobs?" she asked. "Okay, how do I do that?"

Angela grinned. "Just having them is enough most of the time."

Amber deflated. "I'm not sure Cal is a boob guy."

Or was he? Uh.

"All guys are a little bit," Angela said confidently. "I wouldn't worry about it too much."

"So, plunging necklines. I... can do that. When I buy some that is." Le sigh.

"Shirts are good for all that," she said. "Just undo an extra button."

You might be surprised to know Angela hasn't actually given out slutty dressing 101 classes before.

"But not too many," she added quickly. "There's sexy, and there's excessive."

"A couple buttons," she nodded. "Maybe a pretty bra?"
