Boys and been girls and girls had been boys and Anemone had stayed Anemone.

Which was fine by her. The only male Human-Form she'd ever heard of was Gonzy, and, well, EW.

She settled in behind the desk with her copy of Grimm's Tales or the meta to find more stories about people transforming into new and different shapes. Just because she could.

Anemone's entranced in her book and Gulliver is wandering the vast expanses of the library, but either one is around to assist you.

Rodney entered the library shortly before second period. He sent a nod in Anemone's direction as he went straight to the physics section. He gathered several different beginning and intermediate level books before settling in at a table. As he waited for Kevin, he worked on some modifications in the design for his pumpkin chucker.

Anemone glanced up and returned his nod, not bothering to get up since he seemed to know what he needed.

"Yell if you need anything," she said, going back to her book. "We're the only ones here right now."

"Sure," he waved. Unfortunately, Rodney knew the only thing he'd end up needing would be a different student to tutor.

Kevin walked in, nonchalantly and late, of course. "Oh, hey dude." He thrust his chin out at Rodney in way of a greeting.

He hadn't brought anything with him -- no pen, no paper, no books. At least he was wearing a tank top.

"Hey," Rodney replied unenthusiastically. "You really weren't kidding about not taking notes, were you?"

He shrugged. "Do you think I should? I've never had to take notes before." He'd always found that a calculated smile and a tight enough shirt got him plenty far.

Kevin took a seat across from Rodney and glanced at the books. "So, Rod, you single?" he asked, trying to push off the actual work at hand.

"I, yes, what?" Rodney shook his head dismissively. "Is there something specific that was giving you trouble that we should start with?" He was trying to get the ball rolling here.

Kevin reached out and took the book closest to him. "Well, whatever we've talked about in class, I guess," he replied. He flipped few a couple of pages, frowned, and pushed it away.

"No hot chicks around that dig your nerdy cuteness?" he asked.

"Not lately," Rodney grumped, distracted. "Let's see," he said as he flipped through his notes. "Carter started off with gravitation, so we should look at that first. But, you'd think more girls would appreciate a genius," he added randomly.

Before lunch, Indy left his office and went to JGOB to grab some sandwiches for himself and Anemone. "Wasn't sure what you'd like," he admitted as he brought in a bag and placed it on the counter. "You like turkey?"

"It's food, so I like it," Anemone replied gleefully as she grabbed at the bag. "I prefer sweets, but I'll eat almost anything."

"So far it's been pretty quiet. I think that Rodney-boy has half the physics section on his table, but I haven't heard any death screams from that direction yet," Anemone mused. "Not many students ever use the library."

"Such a shame," Indy said with a sigh as he looked over the library. "This place is actually more complete than any university I ever attended. Then again books didn't attack me there either."

Anemone took a bite of her sandwich and thought about it. "I've never been in a real library before, so I don't have anything to compare it to," she finally answered. "I like this one a lot. You can't really blame the books for acting up, not when you compare it to the rest of the island."

"I would have thought that books would prefer to be read," Indy said as he pushed back his hat a little on his head. "Instead of hassling the readers."

She tilted her head and grinned. "And if the person checking you out might turn into a puppy and gnaw on your spine tomorrow, you might be a bit paranoid too," she laughed. "Once they know you're not going to spill coffee on them, they won't be quite so cranky. Probably."

"But I'm a scientist!" Indy protested... Mostly to the library. "I'd never do that to a book."

"Well, they know that now," Anemone answered, rolling her eyes. "Still, I don't think Special Collections is supposed to be 'nice'. That's where all the dangerous books are. If it was easy to walk in and take something, it would kind of defeat the point."

Afternoon

She has her colored pencils out, and is making her own illustrations for the stories while Gulliver supervises.
