"Welcome back," Edward said when the students were seated. "Today we will be discussing the anatomy of the reproductive system. A few things first, though."

"We're dealing with some very personal subjects in this class. If you need to discuss something that you aren't comfortable bringing up in front of the other students, you can always talk to one of the teaching assistants." He turned his golden eyes to Marco and Joan. "Will you please stand up?" He turned back to the rest of the class. "Marco and Joan have volunteered to help us out. Please let them know if there's anything you need."

"In addition, Jennifer Sparks has informed me that she knows nearly everything there is to know about sex, so if you have any factual questions and I'm not available, I'm sure she'd be happy to help you out."

"And now, onto anatomy," Edward said. He nodded at the student nearest the door. "Will you please dim the lights?" The lights dim, he launched into a lecture on the reproductive system, using a number of slides to illustrate.

When he finished and the lights turned back on, he brought out five different plastic models of human reproductive systems.

"Now, let's see what you've learned. All the parts on these are numbered. On a sheet of paper, write down the numbers and the correct name of the part. I've only got five of these, so you'll have to work in groups. You are welcome to work together, but I want you each to turn in your own answers."

He then read off the group assignments and handed a plastic model to each group.

Amber wrinkled her nose up. "It's just ugly. An alien muscle thing with antenna eyes..." A beat. "I don't think I'm ever going to have babies."

"Me either, but not because of this," Claire said, shaking the model a little. "This is just ... what it looks like."

A beat. "Only more plastic than real ones. I hope."

"Not because of this either," Amber said, poking it. "Though the thought of having my insides stretched far and wide isn't too appealing."

Claire made a disgusted face, "Okay, ugh, now I'm definitely never having kids."

"Sorry?" Amber managed on a slightly wicked chuckle. "I imagine having sex won't be too much of a stretch, and people do like it. I can handle that."

Claire looked up through her bangs. "You haven't yet?" She didn't meet too many virgins.

"No," she replied honestly. "I chickened out at the very last moment. It wasn't very nice of me."

Claire was suddenly very interested in an ovary. "But you shouldn't feel like you have to do it just so he doesn't get blue balls or whatever he said."

Amber looked at Claire. "Blue balls?"

"You know," Claire said dismissively. "Total lie. If a guy gets turned on and you don't get him off it hurts. Or they'll say that."

"Oh my god, I had no idea," she mused thoughtfully. "No wonder he left me in the woods..."

"He left you in the woods?" Claire could get a little screechy sometimes. "That's just not cool. At all. Whatever was going on."

Amber tried very very hard not to glance over at Chuck. But it was semi-unavoidable. "It's alright; I apologized. Things are..." well they weren't cool, but whatever "...fine. He's one of those rich 'I can do whatever and say whatever I want' kind of guys." Not that she knew more than one.

Following Amber's glance over to Chuck was equally unavoidable, and Claire reddened a bit at that. "He did that?" she said, sounded very weirded out. "He took me home after the party Saturday. I mean, nothing happened. But." They'd hung out and smoked pot until Claire wandered off to go to sleep. "Why did you apologize?"

"He did?" Well, Chuck was just a player. Amber shouldn't have been surprised. "And yah, you betcha he did." But, it was true what he said about her. "Said I was sorry because I was nothing more than a tease, despite the fact that I just, well, I was plain scared to do it. I didn't, don't really even know him."

"Guys just suck," Claire said, shooting a glare at Chuck. "They just do."

To make Amber feel better, she said, "At least he didn't tell the whole school." Though Amber seemed to be almost efficient as Gabe in that regard.

Warren just... stared at the model. Contemplated it, if you will.

It looked like some kind of creature that he'd probably have to save the world from, someday.

They really didn't teach sex ed in his last school. At all.

Kevin hadn't really paid attention to the part of the lecture where girl parts had been discussed. "What is this thing?" he asked, poking it with his index finger.

"That's her cervix," Claire ~~modded~~ said. "You just got way past third base with a piece of plastic."

He poked it again and looked over at Toby. "So, wait, is this where the dude's pole would go?"

Clare considered it, then shrugged. Close enough. "Yeah, the vag is at that end and the other end's the uterus and ovaries."

He pulled his hand back. "Does the girl ever, you know, like, pee when they're doing it?"

He really was clueless.

"Only in really gross porn," Claire said, trying to decide if the guy was a virgin, gay, very dim, or some combination of the three.

Kevin nodded; gross porn, he knew. "Yeah, sometimes, when I'm giving it to my boyfriend really hard, stuff slips out. It happens, but not that often, cause he's really clean and stuff."
