Library [10.09]

Karal arrived at the library with a purpose this morning. He had a class...very soon, actually, but there was time to find a book.

An important book, considering he had no idea what physics was and it seemed to be an integral part of the aforementioned class.

The book was easily found but, sadly, not so easily read. The moment he checked it out, it transformed into a kitten and a box. With a single inscrutable look, the kitten climbed into the box, pulled the lid shut behind it and, as far as Karal could tell, ceased to exist.

"...what?"

Altra rolled his eyes, sniffed, and replied, :I have no idea.:

He thought about opening the box, just to see if the kitten was all right, but sensed that this might be a bad idea.

"They're cute," Tony said. "Probably not going to be much help with class, though."

"No, probably not. I'm not really sure what to do with them," Donos admitted, catching the Asian kitten before it could launch itself onto the counter. "Did you still want to try to study?"

"Yeah, I'd like to go over the stuff from Monday," Tony said. There was an empty table not far from the checkout desk and he headed toward it.

Myn followed, one kitten in an undignified under-the-arm carry and the other still in his backpack, which he set on the table. "Thankfully, my notebook is unaffected." He took it out, eyeing a slightly tattered corner. "...Just a little chewed on."

Tony took out his own notebook. "Okay," he said, sitting down and taking out a pen. "Where'd we leave off?"

"We were discussing the five constant factors," Myn said, flipping through his notes. "Moral Law, Heaven, Earth, Commander, and Method and Discipline." He looked up, smiling slightly. "Heavy stuff."

Tony found the spot in his own notes, and they discussed the issues from class.
