There was a Meg standing in front of the class today rather than the Tyler that was usually there. She looked way more cheerful than any human being had any right to be this early in the morning.

"Okay, so Professor Durden has some stuff to do that's not here so that's why I'm standing here today and not him. Don't worry, I'm not going to teach anything. It's the last day of class and I don't think any of you would listen to me if I tried to teach anyways," she said. Meg also knew that some people couldn't handle the bouncy spaz that was her in the mornings. "Today we're going to watch a movie that has nothing to do with this class but, oh my god, is Russell Crowe hot in that little man-skirt."

"OH!" Meg bounced again. "Professor Durden told me to tell you that you guys rocked. And I agree. I'll even add an 'you're awesome'. You're awesome. There. Okay, movie time!"

He twitched. "Not here," he repeated his protest from last week.

"Neither do I," she tossed her head. "You're the one that keeps saying not here, not here--you pick the time."

"Time and place are different things," he pointed out. An underground cave was useful for such things and he didn't much care for the gym or salle. "Beach, then you can't get hurt too much when I kick your ass."

He rolled his eyes. "Then don't make me pick the spot if you're going to correct me," he eyed her. "Besides, that's school property. I don't want to get detention for it."

"They don't care 'bout sparring up there," she said loftily. "Cassandra and I never got in trouble for it."

It was still school grounds and Ichigo didn't think it very appropriate. "I don't want them to get the right idea." He was apparently in a difficult mood.

"People expect me to be moody," he argued. "You're supposed to be bouncy and annoying."

He scratched behind his ear. "Why am I not surprised you'd be proud of that?"

"There will be a new batch soon, you can annoy them instead then," he told her. "I'm a veteran now."

"No, not really," he said honestly, because he was just rambling now. For a moment he wondered what it'd be like to h- He cleared his throat and tried not to blush. "Whatever."

She laughed. "Watch the movie, you dork."
