There was a Meg standing in front of the class today rather than the Tyler that was usually there. She looked way more cheerful than any human being had any right to be this early in the morning.

"Okay, so Professor Durden has some stuff to do that's not here so that's why I'm standing here today and not him. Don't worry, I'm not going to teach anything. It's the last day of class and I don't think any of you would listen to me if I tried to teach anyways," she said. Meg also knew that some people couldn't handle the bouncy spaz that was her in the mornings. "Today we're going to watch a movie that has nothing to do with this class but, oh my god, is Russell Crowe hot in that little man-skirt."

"OH!" Meg bounced again. "Professor Durden told me to tell you that you guys rocked. And I agree. I'll even add an 'you're awesome'. You're awesome. There. Okay, movie time!"

"People expect me to be moody," he argued. "You're supposed to be bouncy and annoying."

He scratched behind his ear. "Why am I not surprised you'd be proud of that?"

She stuck her tongue out at him. "Because I'm the one the tried to break your brain the first day you got here?"

"There will be a new batch soon, you can annoy them instead then," he told her. "I'm a veteran now."

She rolled her eyes. "Do I even want to know how that makes sense to you? Whatever. You will, because the island has a tendency to do so."

"No, not really," he said honestly, because he was just rambling now. For a moment he wondered what it'd be like to h- He cleared his throat and tried not to blush. "Whatever."

She laughed. "Watch the movie, you dork."

"I've seen it," he replied, leaning forward on the desk. "It's okay if it's your thing."

"It's not," she said, dismissively. "I don't like movies much."

And movies with fighting in them were just hilariously awful.

He studied her curiously. "Why not?"

"It's boring," Ino explained. "Just sitting there, doing nothing but staring at the screen. Boring."
