Library [Saturday]

Mac had seen the news. With unexplained spirits popping up all over the place, the chances were there would be library-based research to be done. There usually was, so she showed up a little earlier than usual and brought copious amounts of coffee to fuel anyone who showed up.

Teddy!Ron was sitting on a stack of books overseeing.... Or, just sitting there, since he didn't do much else in this form. She just thought it might be more interesting for him if he was still in there somewhere, to be able to watch what was happening.

Friday poked his head inside and looked around. He had an intense sense of familiarity as the rest of his body followed his head into the library. "'lo?"

It was a good thing there was a lot of coffee. Because G'Kar had brought a lot of moddable pastries. "Good morning," he greeted, placing the bag of goodies on the counter. "I suspect the library will be quite busy today."

Ned didn't exactly want to hide in his room with just a rock for company so, he made sure Rockin' Robin was hidden safely in the closet before he tromped down to the library and wandered inside.

There'd be people here, right? He'd have to talk and maybe touch but he'd rather do that than deal with ghosts that might come back to life he touched them.

Vala walked into the library carefully, looking a little pale, but she was upright and while whatever had happened to her on the front lawn of her house the evening before had left her still a bit weak, particularly after walking to school from town, she was determined to not sit out whatever Hades had planned like she was an invalid.

Recognizing that she wasn't at her best, however, had been what sent her to the library. Not one of her favorite places, but it would do for now. "Where's the anti-Hades research section?"

Mike arrived not long after hearing the announcement from Hades, carrying his own laptop. Ghosts were not his specialty, but he was happy to help research.

Francine, after hiding under the covers all night post-radio, then being awakened by....that, went looking for somebody she hoped knew what was going on. "Ok so just to make sure the world is crazy and not me, that was the Vice Principle on a giant flying... thingie I saw out my window thi morning? Telling us to leave the island?"

Chris was at the library bright and early. He had spent most of the night after hearing about the ghosts doing research in the Book of Shadows and his own books, but he hadn't found much, so he figured he might have more luck with new resources.

He had a large cup of coffee and an even larger stack of books next to him.

[ooc: I'll be on and off during the day with family obligations, but I at least wanted to establish Chris for plot purposes. I'll pick up pings as I can :)]

Vala was surrounded by a large number of books and she was reading through them at a fairly rapid pace. Beside her were a plain crusty roll and some tea, both untouched.

Juli, having recovered from her encounter with a ghost last night, was at the library. Having both her coffee and a large number of books to get through she settled in to work with a will.

After making sure there were no ghosts around, Ned wandered over to the group of people surrounded by books and started trying to find anything that might be useful.

He sat some distance away from everyone but close enough that they could still keep with the library rules and not yell.

Liir had one response when something like this came up.

Books.

Now that he had the resource, and he could in fact look to the wisdom of the ages instead of simply try and guess the course of action, it was quite possibly the most wonderful thing about a crisis.

You know, in it's way.

Considering Oz's wonderful history with tyrants, the announcement this morning had sent him to thel library right away. So there he was, working.

Hoshi was tackling some of the books that weren't in English. She was translating as she went, jotting down anything that seemed remotely important.

Summer considered hiding in her room all day, but she didn't want to sit around and do nothing. Research wasn't exactly her favorite thing to do, but it was probably a lot safer than fighting.

So she got herself some coffee, grabbed some books, and took a seat near Chris.

Tony was so damn lucky that Jarvis was keeping him up to date on the happenings in town.

Even if it had taken a few moments pause about this whole... ghost thing. But he was going to try to help. Even if he was kicking himself for not working faster on the suit.

He had a laptop and a very annoyed Pepper Potts on the phone. "No, I'm not experiencing Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Pepper."

Mohinder had a couple of books open in front of him and was switching between those and his open laptop, taking a few seconds to scrawl a few notes. At the moment they were more interesting than helpful; he wasn't sure what would be useful in this situation.

G'Kar had several books laid out before him and was making cross-referenced notes. Hopefully, he'd find something of use.

You could want doughnuts. And a milkshake. And your Vice Principal not to be a crazy floating person. But Francine didn't have any of those, so she stuck with the books and coffee.
