Library [06/02]

When Sam woke up and discovered that all of his underwear was missing, his immediate thought was to wonder how Dean had managed to break in while he and Dawn were sleeping. But all thoughts of pranking went away when he showed up at the library and found every empty space of the desk being used for underwear storage.

The worst part was that none of it was his underwear, and that meant he was still feeling very, very uncomfortable in his jeans. His discomfort only grew when he started pulling the underwear out and discovered just what some people felt the need to wear under their clothes.

After filling a basket and marking it "Claim Your Underwear, Please" he went ahead and opened the library.

Sam was at the computer for most of the morning, keeping himself as far from the underwear basket as he could. It wasn't like he'd never seen a thong, but not knowing who they belonged to was weirding him out.

Of course, it was hard to sneak when you where worried about chafing...

The noise of someone attempting to sneak in got Sam's attention, and he casually glanced over to see if he was being approached, or the basket.

"Hey Seely," Sam said, unable to keep from smirking a little. "Can I help you?"

Trying to look cool and collected, Seely mumbled something about underwear.

"You're not the only one," Sam said, shifting uncomfortably. "Would you like me to leave you alone while you search?" He liked Seely, so he could be nice.

Sam snickered, and turned back to focus his gaze on the computer screen. He'd seen Seely naked enough times that he really didn't need to know about his underwear too.

Lois had listened to radio enough to know where Sam usually was on Mondays. And, no, she wasn't going to think about how much of dork her big brother was.

"Hey," she said when she approached the front desk. "I've got a question for you."

"So, yeah, I woke up this morning and I found that all my underwear was gone. All of it. Even the uncomfortable but cute ones I use for dates," Lois said. She wondered if that was too much information. Nah. "Is that a normal thing that goes on here or should I assume the squirrels don't like me?"

She didn't mind not wearing underwear but she did mind rodents stealing from her.

Sam squirmed a little, from both physical and psychological discomfort. "It's not exactly normal," he said. "But it probably wasn't the squirrels, because you're not the only one who had your underwear taken."

Trying not to squirm was just making Sam squirm more. "I don't think you need to know that," he said. "I just meant that I found a lot of underwear in here, and I don't think it's all yours, that's all."

Dawn wandered in, trying to look like she wasn't panicking over her complete loss of underwear. She'd tried shorts first, but that was entirely too uncomfortable to mention, so she was wearing a very long skirt and still feeling conspicuous, even though she'd done this before.

"Hi," she greeted Sam, blushing for no apparent reason, but which soon had a reason when she noticed a few pairs of her underwear and a bra in the laundry basket. "Watcha got there?"

Sam's first reaction when he saw Dawn come in was to smile. Then he saw where she was looking, and blushed as well. "I found them. Here, in the desk. I didn't take them though or anything." Yeah, because that would really be her assumption.

For some reason, Dawn was not completely surprised that some of her underwear had made it into the library of its own volition. "If you wanted to see them, all you had to do was open my drawer, you know. You didn't have to take it on a field trip..."

Oooh, that caught her attention. "Wait. Does that mean you're not wearing any?"

"Um. Maybe," Sam said quietly, and if he blushed more, it was from admitting that and seeing Dawn's bra.

"And?" She peeked over the counter, as if he'd left the room without pants on or something. "How is it?"

She tucked the bra into her bag, then added a pair of panties (http://www.figleaves.com/us/product.asp?product_id=LL-45603&mci=&size=&colour=multicolored&image=r547641-p547685-front). A pair of boxers got frowned at and left behind in the basket. "Any idea how this happened?"

"It's uncomfortable," Sam said, squirming. "And no, I don't know how the underwear got here, just that it did."
