Library [06/02]

When Sam woke up and discovered that all of his underwear was missing, his immediate thought was to wonder how Dean had managed to break in while he and Dawn were sleeping. But all thoughts of pranking went away when he showed up at the library and found every empty space of the desk being used for underwear storage.

The worst part was that none of it was his underwear, and that meant he was still feeling very, very uncomfortable in his jeans. His discomfort only grew when he started pulling the underwear out and discovered just what some people felt the need to wear under their clothes.

After filling a basket and marking it "Claim Your Underwear, Please" he went ahead and opened the library.

Sam was perfectly content not to look, but the colors of Seely's underwear were a little too noticeable to ignore completely.

It probably didn't help that Seely managed to drop the odd piece of it here and there in his efforts to find it all.

It didn't help enough that Sam finally found himself looking again. "Did you pick easy to find colors just in case of a situation like this?" he asked.

"Some of us like a bit of variety in our underwear," Seely replied, trying to salvage his dignity.

"Variety isn't a bad thing," Sam said quickly. "You're a much braver dresser than I am, that's for sure."

"Aravis likes it," Seely said stubbornly, even though 'tolerates' might have been closer to the truth.

"Oh, well, that makes it a lot better," Sam said sincerely. He'd seen a few things that looked like they might be Dawn's, but he wasn't sure about claiming them without her there.

"I wish I knew," Sam said. "It was all just here this morning. I'm thinking gremlins, but then I think about gremlins touching my stuff and feel a little weirded out."

"I know what you mean," Seely said, making a mental note to rewash all of his underwear.

"I'm also wondering where else peoples' underwear might be. If it's not here..." Sam had some ideas, and none of them were very pleasant.
