"Yeah, no kidding." Jen snorts a tiny laugh. "This is what we get for saying the island was too small for that to be a concern."

"And, seriously, furniture?" Bridge shakes his head. "I mean, isn't there a rule or something about how they're supposed to be animals or vehicles of some sort?" Well, except for the SuperZeoZords, he supposed. But those were just weird.

Jen chews on her thumbnail for a moment or two as she thinks that over, reviewing everything she's learned about Ranger history. "I don't know if it was ever an official rule?"

For some reason, Bridge's face turns bright red upon hearing the word "bookshelf".

"Oh, come on," says Jen, misinterpreting the blush. "It could have been a fold-out guest bed."

"Yeah, yeah, you're right," Bridge says, happy to let Jen assume what she will instead of risking the TMI-factor if she'd asked for an explanation.

"Passover starts on Saturday," Bridge explains. "And there's not supposed to be fasting on Fridays, so... today it is."
