A cheerful Bridge arrives at the library and flops into a chair behind the counter, for once sans the usual coffee and morning snack.

"Yeah. Still . . . just weird," Jen says with a shrug. "But . . . I guess we can chalk it up as a useful life experience for you guys."

Not all of them, but she's not going to specify. Some people's secrets should probably be kept.

"Passover starts on Saturday," Bridge explains. "And there's not supposed to be fasting on Fridays, so... today it is."

"Yeah, but I don't understand what starving yourself has to do with anything," Jen says slowly.

Bridge glances around suspiciously and then drops his voice to a whisper. "...Neither do I," he admits.

Jen actually giggles.

Don't get used to it, it might not happen again.

"Probably," Bridge says with a nod, trying not to crack a smile at Jen's giggling. It kind of slips through anyway though.

"My lips are sealed," Bridge says, miming a zipper motion. "Still, you should do it more often."

Unlike Jen, Bridge has no shame about random giggle-attacks. Which is why there is one happening right now.
