Library [03/24]

Sam was on a bit of a sugar high this morning, in addition to being armed with his usual cup of coffee. Luckily, Dean was giving him space and alone time again, so only the books got to witness him being jittery as he set up for the day.

The library was closed for lunch to everyone except the librarian, the other aides, and Dean, if he could pry Sam away from the Sims long enough to eat.

Dean came in with lunch as usual and to show what an awesome brother he was, there was even leftover Easter chocolate to share.

"So whatcha hard at work at?" he asked as he came in and took his usual seat, craning his head to try and get a look at Sammy's computer screen.

"Nothing," Sam said quickly, trying to minimize the game so Dean couldn't see. "It's time for lunch already?"

"Yep." The speed at which Sammy moved to keep him from seeing just made Dean all the more curious. "So you looking at porn?"

"What? No!" Sam said. "I'm not going to do that here, you know that!"

"You'll just make out with Dawn in here," Dean pointed out.

"I'm not going to do that either!" Sam said, thinking Dean didn't need the details of his plan to do just that at some point.

"You already did."

"Well...we're not going to do it again," Sam said. "Because it's wrong, and we might get into trouble."

"Sure you are," Dean said with a smirk. "And, again to prove what an awesome big brother I am, I volunteer to stand lookout if you ever need me to."

"Your services won't be needed, I assure you," Sam said. "Don't worry."

"I'll offer them to Dawn just in case," Dean said. "She's much more realistic about this sorta thing."

Sam looked like he wanted to flail at Dean. "I don't want you playing lookout and listening to us do...whatever we're not going to do here."

"Didn't seem to bother you last week," Dean pointed out with a leer.

"I was emotional and worked up last week. That so doesn't count," Sam insisted.

"Dude, it totally counts! And making out with a girl you're supposed to feel worked up."

"I meant I was worked up before Dawn showed up," Sam said. "I'm okay now, so...it's not going to happen, okay? I have to work here, and behave here."

"Sure Sammy," Dean said with a big smile. "Whatever you say. So what were you looking at if it wasn't porn?"

"I was just playing my game," Sam said, sighing and opening the window again. "See?"

Dean leaned over to get a better look. "So who all do you got in here?"

"Uh, me and Dawn are here," he said, pointing. "I put Brooke in with Peter here, and you've got the big house here with Meg and Alec."

Dean grinned at that last bit. "Cool." He paused. "Alec's not just in there for you to kill off is he?"

"No, I've gotten all the killing out of my system," Sam said. "He's in there because he should be, just like Meg, since someone has a thing for threesomes."

"I'm awesome that way," Dean observed.

"You're disgusting that way," Sam corrected him. "But it's okay."
