Library [03/24]

Sam was on a bit of a sugar high this morning, in addition to being armed with his usual cup of coffee. Luckily, Dean was giving him space and alone time again, so only the books got to witness him being jittery as he set up for the day.

"No, I don't," Sam answered, just as seriously. "That's why I left him in the house with you. I don't mind him that much anymore."

Sam rolled his eyes. "I've just gotten used to him, that's all. I know he's not going to be out of your life any time soon, so...it's easier to accept him than fight him."

That was a little more serious than Dean had been aiming for, but he should've known better with Sammy. "He sounded like he was doing okay," he offered, "when I called him. I think he was either in the middle of a deal or picking up a girl." Pause. "Possibly both, knowing Alec."

Sam laughed softly. "He certainly did make things more interesting. I do kind of miss that."

Dean chuckled. "Dude, you don't know how interesting. And you're probably happier not knowing."

"What do the sims versions of us get up to?" Dean asked curiously.

"Of you and Alec?" Sam asked. "The same things as the real versions. You eat a lot, and then have sex."

"Sammy, I'm shocked," Dean said, with appropriate expression. "You watch sim Alec and sim me have sex? You voyeur you."

"I don't watch you!" Sam replied. "I look over, see the two of you in bed, and quickly move on to a different part of the neighborhood where I don't have to see anything."

"Dude, if you were the one playing, would you watch me and Dawn?" Sam asked, before putting his hands up quickly. "Wait, never mind, I don't want the honest answer to that question."

Sam sighed, not wanting to insult Dean more. "I'm sorry. I just...I wish you felt more like I do about sex. Then I wouldn't feel so uncomfortable whenever the topic comes up."

"Because it shouldn't be something you're ashamed of," Dean told him.

"I'm not ashamed," Sam said. "I just don't like talking about sex a lot. It's a personal thing that doesn't need to be discussed, or watched by people who aren't involved."
