Today Anakin's desk was covered with droid babies in bassinets.

Each baby had a tiny stuffed Ewok tucked next to it. Shh.

"Today we talk about lust," Anakin said. "Or rather, the unintended consequences that can happen when you take action without precautions."

He smiled. "Meet your little projects for the next week. They're heavy, they cry, and they will record everything you do with them. So if you stuff them into a closet for a week, believe me, I'll know."

He reached for a list of paper. "Some of you I've paired together, some of you are single parents." His smile turned a little evil. "Some of your babies are a little fussier than others."

He was a petty, petty man.

"I'm sure you wouldn't," Lana said soothingly, half to him and half to the two babies she was holding. "Maybe you can be the provider half of the deal. Make sure I have whatever I need, arrange babysitters from time to time?"

"I think I can manage that," Harry said. "And I'll try not to get too close."

"That works for me," Lana said. "Any chance you can rig me up some way to be able to easily carry both of them at once?"

"Sticking them in a backpack's not an option, right?" Harry was mostly not serious.

"I can probably think of something. Or try to at least. See how it goes."

"Yeah, I think stuffing them in a backpack might be frowned upon. Though if two of them could be padded and hooked together somehow... that might work."

"All right," Lana said. "I'm in room 322. Um... we should probably name them, don't you think? Do you have any names you'd like?"

"I'll stop sometime soonish," Harry said. "And I like, uh, Maggie."

Lana's heart broke a little, but she managed to smile and nod. "Maggie's fine. Anything else? Maybe Lara?"

"Was my mom's name," Harry said, feeling a need to explain for some reason. "Lara's good, sure."

"Lara was my mom's name," Lana admitted. "Okay, then we're good with names. I'll just... get them back to my room and rig up some sort of bassinette thing and... we'll go from there."

Lana nodded. "506. I'll remember that. And if these guys keep me up too much you're going to have to keep me supplied with coffee!"

"Excellent," she said. "Okay, Harry, so... do Maggie and Lara get your last name or mine or both?

"Uhh...both sounds good." Robot babies were already more complicated than he'd thought.

"Hmmm... Maggie and Lara Dresden-Lang," Lana said thoughtfully. "Yeah, that would work. Unless you'd prefer Lang-Dresden."
