Today Anakin's desk was covered with droid babies in bassinets.

Each baby had a tiny stuffed Ewok tucked next to it. Shh.

"Today we talk about lust," Anakin said. "Or rather, the unintended consequences that can happen when you take action without precautions."

He smiled. "Meet your little projects for the next week. They're heavy, they cry, and they will record everything you do with them. So if you stuff them into a closet for a week, believe me, I'll know."

He reached for a list of paper. "Some of you I've paired together, some of you are single parents." His smile turned a little evil. "Some of your babies are a little fussier than others."

He was a petty, petty man.

"Don't make me name you Gurgle," Eve threatened to the baby droid. To Amber's question, she nodded. "Yeah, I am."

She didn't really see the point in denying it, considering just about everybody knew that Savannah was her daughter now. Well, everybody who wasn't reasonably new.

"It's... complicated." Eve shrugged. "But I managed."

And Amber wasn't going to be nosey. She just smiled and reached down to poke the baby droid. "What we gonna name the little... girl?"

"Hrm." Eve studied the baby droid for another moment before reaching down to pick it up. "Hey, you," she said, smiling at it. Her. Whatever. "You need a name, don't you? Yes, you do. So what we're gonna do is just start rattling off names until you make some kind of sound. So pick your name carefully, little one. Don't want to get stuck with something weird."

She grinned. "How about... Lydia?"

No reaction.

"Okay, that's a no on Lydia."

"What about Petunia?" Okay, she was just kidding here, but hey, if baby droid liked it...

And unfortunately for them, the baby droid made a baby noise.

"... Petunia it is, then." Eve shrugged. "Hey, Tunes. You like your name, huh?"

Which only made Amber laugh more. "Oh my gosh. We're gonna be the best ma's."

Pause.

"You gonna take her with you, right?"

"Yep." Eve nodded. "You have any classes tomorrow? 'cause if you do I can just keep her for all of Friday and then you can snag her sometime Saturday for some quality mommy time."
