Today Anakin's desk was covered with droid babies in bassinets.

Each baby had a tiny stuffed Ewok tucked next to it. Shh.

"Today we talk about lust," Anakin said. "Or rather, the unintended consequences that can happen when you take action without precautions."

He smiled. "Meet your little projects for the next week. They're heavy, they cry, and they will record everything you do with them. So if you stuff them into a closet for a week, believe me, I'll know."

He reached for a list of paper. "Some of you I've paired together, some of you are single parents." His smile turned a little evil. "Some of your babies are a little fussier than others."

He was a petty, petty man.

Romeo was also inspecting Anakin. "He seems to be rather focused on one bearing responsibility for one's actions," he said cautiously. "Perhaps not, yet we can ask. All parents at home do it, and we turn out well enough."

Yes, he had a funny definition of "well enough."

Mel shook her head. "Yeah... somehow I don't think he's going to let a lesson on Lust be handed off to a hired servant."

Romeo took a final glance at Anakin before shaking his head sorrowfully. "When I spoke to him Monday he was saying all good lessons are hard," he said. "I think he would say this was yet another hard lesson."

He kept his hands far from the droid as he spoke. "What shall we call our son?"

Mel looked at the kid warily. "Yeah... Um. No idea. Lou? Maybe? I don't have a preference."

Romeo tried to think of names from home. "Reynaldo? Petrucchio? Salanio? Lou is so ... short."

"You got any names that don't end in 'o'?" Mel asked. "Though I'd be cool with Reynaldo if I could call him 'Rey' or 'Rey-Rey'."

"Most of the ones I like end in 'o'," Romeo admitted. "Reynaldo, then, and we cal him Rey?" He looked at the droid again. "He looks like a Rey."

"He does?" Mel said looking at the droid baby. "I keep looking at him and thinking... 'What am I supposed to do with this thing?' but I don't think that's going to fit on a certificate."

"Especially not if you stick a Fray-hyphen-Montague after it," Romeo agreed. "Though it would echo my sentiments as well, I fear."

He gave the droid baby a distinctly skeptical look. "We just need to keep it in one piece for a week."

Mel looked at the droid baby and then back at Romeo. "You want to take it first or should I?"

Mel was hoping he would take it first. If it got ugly she could make a quick break from the island.

"I'll take it first," Romeo decided. Mel sounded like she didn't want the responsibility, and, while Romeo didn't either, he figured he might as well get it over with. "If I keep it until Sunday night, can we hand off custody then?"
