Today Anakin's desk was covered with droid babies in bassinets.

Each baby had a tiny stuffed Ewok tucked next to it. Shh.

"Today we talk about lust," Anakin said. "Or rather, the unintended consequences that can happen when you take action without precautions."

He smiled. "Meet your little projects for the next week. They're heavy, they cry, and they will record everything you do with them. So if you stuff them into a closet for a week, believe me, I'll know."

He reached for a list of paper. "Some of you I've paired together, some of you are single parents." His smile turned a little evil. "Some of your babies are a little fussier than others."

He was a petty, petty man.

Reno crossed his arms and raised an eyebrow and hoped for all he was worth that his partner was good with kids. Because he was... decidedly not.

"Who's de cutest little droid baby in da world," Andrew said, reaching down to pick up the little robotic thing.

"Oh, he is kinda heavy!"

He turned to Reno. "Wanna hold him?"

Andrew looked perfectly happy with the baby droid.

Reno took a half-step back, there, trying not too look too horrified at the droid baby thing.

"Hold him? Uh. No, I'll pass. Looks like you got it handled, yo."

"You sure? I don't want to hog him," he said, bouncing the droid baby in his arms.

"He feels pretty sturdy, so I doubt you'll break him or anything like that."

"I, uh. Wouldn't wanna take all the fun from you, man. You seem to be bonding already." Reno pulled his wits together and stared at the droid thing. "You want all the father-son time, I'm not gonna get between you two."

It was fortunate that Andrew seemed to be taking to the baby. This saved Reno from having to pawn the kid off with promises of child support payments he didn't actually intend to send.

"So do you want to work out some kind of baby sharing thing?" Andrew asked. "Or we could, you know, hang out and take care of it together or something."

Reno was now looking back and forth between the baby and Andrew.

"I got Gun Club later today. Probably don't want Junior here to spend his afternoon in a room with a bunch'a high school kids shootin' off live weapons, yo." He tilted his head, considering. "If you wanna take it for the rest of the day, we can pass it off tomorrow, or do somethin' on the weekend. I'm opening Host Club on Sunday, there'd be a good place to meet, anyhow."

It was just a toy, right? Sure. Reno could suck it up and take it whenever worked.

Even if he did think it was an ugly baby.

"I can keep it these next few days if you want," he said. "And we can pass it off on Sunday or something. I can just try and find you at this Host Club thing."

Reno nodded and flashed a grin.

"Sounds good to me, yo. Host Club, in the music room, Sunday. I should be easy enough to find. I'll be the one tryin' to find a place to fit a pool table in there, yo."

[I have to run off to work now! SP, or catch you later or something. Bye!]

"Okay, great," Andrew replied, paying more attention to the droid than to Reno.

"I'll catch you then."
