Today, the Dangershop was set to simulate a garage with a number of workstations. The Bentley was back, this time up on a ramp while Bond worked on the undercarriage. "Good afternoon class," he addressed them, wiping grease off his hands with a rag. "Now that I've got some idea of your driving skills, today we're going to be going over cars themselves."

After giving a short lecture on cars and their history, Bond continued. "Now you'll find a number of handouts describing the various systems and components that make up a car, and we'll be going into more detail on them later in the semester, but for this class we'll be focusing on three systems in particular, the engine, a manual transmission, and most importantly, brake systems."

Bond gestured around the room. "I've marked the places in the handouts pertaining to these systems, and set up each of these workstations around the room with an example of each of the three, and I want you to divide into groups of two or three to examine them and get a feel for them. If ou feel the need to take them apart, there are tools provided."

"Her. All bony and no acting skill. Ruined my favorite show witht he guy who wrote those adorable Young Avengers." Deadpool sighed.

He missed that show when it was good.

"And I can be sneaky if I need to!" He protested. "I just usually don't need to."

"Ah," Bond nodded. "I'm afraid I'm unfamiliar with American television, especially more recent shows."

"That good are you?" Bond asked, in a tone that suggested he'd never, ever had any dealings whatsoever with any mercenary types, and wouldn't in the least have any idea how to judge their relative skill levels, and that anyone who claimed otherwise was a dirty liar.

It was a very expressive tone.

Deadpool was very familiar with such a tone.

"Of course you don't," He said, having too much fun with that bit of narrative. "Aaaand. Hmm. I've been doing it since I was in my twenties and I'm still around, that work?"

Bond allowed himself a small raising of the eyebrows. "It does indeed."

Grinning brightly, Deadpool nodded. "Well, it's also the fact that I have this fun healing factor too."

That caught Bond's attention. "Healing factor?"

Pulling a knife from... well, let's not speculate where from... Wade stabbed himself through the hand. "Owie."

And pulled it out again to let the wound heal.

Bond watched, fascinated. "I can see how that would be useful to someone in your line of work," he said.

"So there's less need to be all sneaky when getting shot just is annoying and not a deterrent."

"But, still, it can hardly be pleasant," Bond pointed out. "Or so I would imagine."

"Ya kinda get used to it," Deadpool admitted. "I mean, unless it's some injury that can't heal quickly, like blowing off and arm... it's just annoying."

Bond winced sympathetically, not that it stopped him filing that tidbit of information away. "Yes, that would be a problem."

"It's fun to use to freak out the kids in a spar, though!" He sighed happily at the memory. "I had one girl constantly stop to ask if I was alright when I was trying to teach her about fights being about so not caring if the person is down and all twitchy in pain. You just kick 'em a few more times and keep them down and twitchy."

"And if that doesn't work you drown them in a sink," Bond added, almost absently.

"Well the kids are less about the killing thing because... well, I'd rather they avoid that bit," Deadpool said slowly. "All work and no play make Jack a giant psychopath, you know?"

"Yes, of course," Bond nodded. "It would be...unfortunate for them to tackle that kind of subject matter."

"I'll just kill the people for them," Deadpool replied, matter-o'-factly. "Solves that problem."

"Yes, it does," Bond agreed.

Deadpool shook his head. "Wow, this got on a cheery topic!"

"Indeed, you were saying something about frightening young starlets?"

Bond was perfectly prepared to change the subject if Deadpool was.

"Yes!" Bond was awesome like that. "I suggest getting a TV for your office. Get yourself up to date on the fun pop culture."

"I'll remember to do that. Although I'll admit my idea of fun doesn't always run towards pop culture."

"Not even ANTM?!"

Bond's look was polite, but blank. "ANTM?"

"Oh, you poor man. I'm bringing you the DVDs next time," Deadpool said, shaking his head sadly.
