Library [01/07]

Sam was very glad to be back in the library after the Christmas break. He had coffee, and a muffin, and was almost certain that he was ready for whatever the day would bring.

Feeling only slightly embarrassed, but pretty winded, Dawn dropped several large dictionaries on the circulation desk with a thunk. "Helloooooo?"

Sam peered out from where he was putting some books back, and grinned at Dawn. "I wondered where the other half of the library was," he teased. "I would have helped you carry those, you know."

"I know, but I didn't feel like going to the gym today, and this keeps me from unsightly arm flab," she grinned back. "Figured you might need them back. You being the library in general, not you in particular, since you knew where they were the whole time."

"Really and truly. I sent them back to Giles and everything, all ready to avert an apocalypse. You wouldn't believe how much Andrew helped," she said, still surprised by that. "So yay, free time of my own again."

And then there was a highly dorky free time dance.

Sam laughed, and made quick work of getting the books out of the way, before she could find some reason to take them back. "Where's a video camera when I need one?" he teased.

"If Meg hasn't learned what Dean is like by now, then I don't think an intervention on our part will help," Sam said. "Although now I'm imagining Dean with a camera and I totally didn't need to. Ow."
