Oh, it had been too long.

Deadpool grinned, sitting cross-legged on his desk as he waited for the kids to all file on in.

"Gooood morin' kiddies! Good mornin' and welcome to Criminal Justice! The class where you all get to learn all the valuable lessons that I painstakingly gathered over years of being arrested and watching a lot of television." A beat. "Mostly TV at this point, I have a tendency to wander away when threatened with arrest these days. It's just annoying anymore."

He grinned brightly. "Anywho! Today is the day where I ask why exactly you all are takin' the class. is it because you want to be feebs? Blackhats? Just like taking classes from crazy folks? Clerical error? Are accidentally in the wrong room? If so, down the hall and to the left."

He gave Senor Deadpool a look that would have been apologetic if it didn't look exactly like every other look Chad had. "Sorry."

Yeah Deadpool wasn't sure what that look meant. It was like getting emotion from a wall.

She was kidding, of course. Meg was definitely here because she liked being taught by crazy folks.

Coraline thought about it for some time. She also spent several minutes simply being intrigued that the teacher was wearing a bright red costume. When she'd finally decided on an answer, she stood.

"I thought your class sounded interesting," she said politely. "And I did wonder if it was justice for criminals, or justice that is criminal, or even something else entirely."

"Well, I visited a jail last semester with some friends and I thought it would be interesting to learn about different parts of the Criminal Justice system," John said.

Michael was sitting, half-lounging, in his chair, steadfastly not looking at Isabel.

"I want to learn how to not get arrested."

Isabel was in the class mostly because it was her last semester and she wanted one last dose of that special brand of Fandom crazy. A class with Deadpool would probably do the trick.

"I know people that have this annoying habit of winding up on the wrong side of the law." She still boggled of Max and his armed robbery stunt. "I figure this class could help me get them out of trouble."

"Law is something I'm interested in since I like the idea of helping people," Annette said with a small shrug. "Thought it would be interesting to learn both sides of it..." given the fact that Deadpool was a criminal.

Oh, crazy teacher. It was just like dealing with Nadira again, only with less pink hair and shopping obsession, but the same disturbing upbeat cheerfulness.

Jen's eyes were narrowed slightly and her voice was reserved as she gave her answer. "Because I think it's important for me to understand a little bit more about how the criminal mind works in order to deal with criminals more effectively."

It was quite possible that over a year later, she was still beating herself up over the fiasco with Ransik and the prison transport escape. Just a little.

She paused. "Also maybe it'll keep me out of trouble myself sometimes."

Tamaki grinned with confidence.

"I'm taking this class because a dear friend of mine dabbles in criminal justice. I would like to know more about it."

He opted not to mention that his friend's family had its own private police force. That part was just a little scary.
