Fandom's Next Top Runway Model [Monday, Period Five]

After they finished arriving, Ares smiled at the class. As usual, it wasn't a particulary comforting smile.

"Today's class follows on somewhat from last week's class," he said. "As having covered undergarments, I feel it is now an appropriate time to move onto swimwear."

Well, technically it was appropriate if either the cold had no effect on you, or you could just think yourself to warmer climes.

"So today I'd like you to all divide up to discuss the pros and cons of various types of swim-suit, and we'll see if you can't decide on the best design. Although personally, I favour the skinny-dipping option."

"We are talking about a heated, indoor pool here, right?" asked Hoshi nervously.

"God I hope so," Peter said.

"Because if I'm going to the beach in December to go swimming, then the only appropriate swimwear is a full-body wet suit like the one scuba divers use," said Hoshi.

"There is no best design," Isabel shrugged. "It all depends on your body type and what works for you. Except the speedo. That's just wrong. Well, unless you're an Olympic class swimmer." Isabel liked the summer Olympics for just that reason.

"Ever seen a guy wearing a fundoshi (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fundoshi) to the pool?" asked Hoshi.

"I don't think so?" she said warily. "What is it?"

Chad looked....a little confused, scratching the back of his head. "Does the, uh, design really matter?" he asked, a bit quietly. "'Cause, uhhhh, you know, if you're doing it right, people aren't gonna look at your swim trunks..."

"You have a point," Isabel agreed. "But some people don't. And they'll need all the help they can get."

Chad's head tilted as a small list started running in his head, mostly everyone he knew back in Japan, and the fact that he couldn't imagine any of them really needing help in that department, except maybe Uryuu, and that was nothing a tan couldn't fix, so he concluded with a doubtful, "Uhhhhh, I guess?"
