After they finished arriving, Ares smiled at the class. As usual, it wasn't a particulary comforting smile.

"Today's class follows on somewhat from last week's class," he said. "As having covered undergarments, I feel it is now an appropriate time to move onto swimwear."

Well, technically it was appropriate if either the cold had no effect on you, or you could just think yourself to warmer climes.

"So today I'd like you to all divide up to discuss the pros and cons of various types of swim-suit, and we'll see if you can't decide on the best design. Although personally, I favour the skinny-dipping option."

Chad's head tilted as a small list started running in his head, mostly everyone he knew back in Japan, and the fact that he couldn't imagine any of them really needing help in that department, except maybe Uryuu, and that was nothing a tan couldn't fix, so he concluded with a doubtful, "Uhhhhh, I guess?"

Isabel was pretty sure she knew what the problem was. "You have to understand, we're surrounded by some pretty good looking people here. So it's not an issue with most of Fandom. But if you were to a beach on the mainland? You'd see sagging. And cellulite. And forty year old women wearing bathing suits meant for teenagers. It's not pretty."

Chad's head tilted, looking a bit like he still didn't quite get it. Even as he did picture all the things Isabel listed off.

"But, if...they think they look good, doesn't matter what other people think..."

"I suppose," she nodded. "All I know is that when I'm forty something? The chances of seeing me in a bikini are slim to none unless I'm very, very lucky."

"Not happening," Chad grunted, somewhat insistently. "I can do a skirt; I got nice calves, so I don't mind that. Heels, fine, okay, but...no. Just no. Guy's gotta have some standards."
