Library: Friday [16.11]

Karal had slept. Sort of. Regardless, he was back at the library at sunrise.

He made himself sit down with a cup of tea while he waited for everyone to arrive.

"How do you feel about coming into Special Collections this morning?" Karal asked him.

Zack blinked and hurriedly sip another mouthful of coffee.

"Those special collections?"

Karal nodded. "We need to find information on the island's history, and those resources are housed in Special Collections," he explained. "So that's where we're going. It may not be entirely safe, but there's nowhere else to look."

"Oh, I'm fully prepared to go," Zack said, his eyes fairly gleaming with the idea of getting his hands on the books in special collections. "I'm just surprised we got permission."

"It's been a surprising week," he replied, deciding not to correct him, and, recogning the look, added very quickly and firmly, "Tread carefully in there, and take nothing that does not relate to the answers we seek."

Of course, lots of things might relate to said answers...
