"Good morning, class," Lulu said, leaning against the front of her desk as they entered. "I hope you had a pleasant weekend." She gestured towards a doll-like figure that stood upon her desk beside her. "This is Onion Knight," she continued. "He may not look like much, but he is a good friend of mine, and will be assisting some in the class." The doll-like figure suddenly moved, waving at the class, before returning to an inert state.

"Today," Lulu continued, "as you may recall from the syllabus, we're going to discuss some of the basics of human sexual anatomy. I have prepared a packet for you detailing some of this information, which I trust you will find most informative.

"In this class, we're not going to discuss these organs in minute detail; certainly, it's important to understand your body when having sex, to help you understand your own reactions. However, we'll be spending just this one class on the specifics of anatomy, mostly to give you a basic grounding for our further topics."

River read through the packet with curiosity, although most of it wasn't new to her. She'd had a brother with plenty of anatomy books, after all.

Yeah. Just looking at the anatomy packets was enough to reinstate Turtle's thinking that she couldn't understand why anyone would want to have sex ever with parts designed like that.

Oh yes, there was some blushing going on when Gavin read through the packets. Honestly, he had no trouble going to war, killing the enemy but discussion of body parts made him blush like nothing else.

Inara was leafing through her packets, but since she already knew the information and was more confused by this century's morality, was taking the time to observe everyone else's reactions.

During one of the times he had to stop and take a moment, he caught her eye and smiled a little.

"Hey," he said quietly.

"Hey," she smiled tentatively at him.

He tapped a finger against his desk, a nervous habit more than anything. "How are you?"

She wasn't sure when this had gotten so awkward. "Fine. Yourself?"

He thought about giving the placating answer but that'd just serve to make the awkward continue.

"Confused," he admitted. "Are you avoiding me?"

"No, of course not." Okay, she had, a little bit. She hadn't wanted to have the conversation with Gavin--hadn't wanted to hear him call her a whore. Not him. "I'm sorry if I confused you."

"No, it wasn't you," he said quietly, dropping his voice. "There's...a lot of stuff in my head right now. I think we need to talk."

Ron's eyes were as big as saucers as he looked at the packets. He might have let out a muffled "Eep" at one point when he was turning the pages.

"Are you all right Ron?" Haku smiled.

"FINE!"

Yep. That was too loud.

Haku smiled softly. "I'm going to guess you weren't taught these things before?"

Anemone was reading through the packets with interest. These were great! Besides, having packets meant she didn't need to take notes that she'd have to try and decipher later.

Katara watched the Onion Knight with interest. Possibly so much interest that she didn't actually look at the packet. That might have been intentional.

Every now and then, Sokka looked up from his intense studying of the packets and glanced over at Katara, just to make sure that SHE wasn't looking at HIM.

She wasn't looking at him.

At least not until she glanced up and saw him look her way. And then there was massive blushing.

Really, there were some things that should have to be studied with brothers present.

Sokka glared at her and hissed, "Stop looking at me!"

"You were looking at me first!" she hissed back.

Ooooh, packets. Rikku was flipping through them carefully, completely engrossed in the subject matter.

Marco was having flash-backs to sixth grade anatomy. Bad flashbacks to sixth grade anatomy.

Sokka perused the packets VERY thoroughly, blushing the whole while. This was important information! And so, so, SO awesome....
