The class met in the cabin clearing as they were ~~handwavily~~ emailed to do so.

"Hey guys," Dean said, once everyone was there. "Dad's busy relearning the joys of diapers and 2 am feedings so you get me as a teacher for the next couple of weeks.

"Today, we're going to do a little skeet shooting," Dean said, handing each person a handout on the subject. He grinned."Cept we're going to do it Winchester style.

"We never had the money or the opportunity to practice on a real genuine skeet shooting range, so we improvised. Dad bought lots of old plates from thrift stores and juryrigged a catpault to get them airborne for us to shoot. Sammy's standing over there by the catapault," Dean nodded towards where his brother was standing by a obviously homemade machine. "So all we need is some plates to put in it."

Dean grinned widely and reached into the sack on the table beside him and pulled out one of Umbridge's kitten plates and tossed it to his brother, who, wearing a matching grin, loaded it into the catapault and nodded at Dean.

Picking up his shotgun, Dean yelled, "Pull!" at which, Sam triggered the catpault and the plate went sailing high into the air. Dean tracked the plate with his gun for a heartbeat or two before firing, hitting the plate deadon, shattering it into many pieces.

Still grinning widely, Dean turned back to the class. "That's one plate down, but there's plenty more. Who wants a turn next?"

"I slept with him in his room last Saturday night," Savannah said off-handedly. "He's staying in mine for a few days." She shot another plate. "Eve and I won't allow you to be split up from Phoebe and Bel."

"You did what last Saturday night, now, little sis?" asked Anders, hooking his thumbs into his belt and looking at her carefully.

"Slept in his room. He was upset and he needed me. He asked me to stay, so I did." She looked at him. "He was a perfect gentleman, big brother... I promise."

She really had no clue this would probably cause him to get a little protecftive.

Oh, yeah. Definite Talk, capital T not optional, coming down the pike in the very near future.

"Long as you promise, I guess," Anders agreed reluctantly. "Hell, right now I've got no problem with it, just to piss off creepy giggly lady -- gods, right now I wonder how I ever thought Principal Washburn was scary."

"Zoe is awesome. Princilady is just downright evil."

"You know, I seriously believe she is," Anders mused. "Not just in the figurative sense, either. There's something . . . I don't like it."

"You do ralize she's going to end up pissing off your girlfriend? It's inevitable. First that announcement will already have her on Phoebe's bad side. And if Eve... wow... Eve will be right at Phoebe's side."

"You know," said Anders ~~without a hint of irony really~~, "it's kind of freaky how well you can guess at how Phoebe'll react to stuff most of the time. And hell, you think she hasn't pissed me off? I'm thinking serious PDA time at Caritas tonight is definitely in order."

She looked at him. "Phoebe is a witch. All witches have tempers. She also was just told she can no longer live with you and Bel. It doesn't take a genius to know she's gonna be pissed." Savannah grinned. "You do that. Me? I'm thinking of running a co-ed commune out of my room for those who get displaced..."

"You know I love you, little sis, right?" he asked, grinning back mischievously.

"Of course you do," she beamed "I'm a terrific little sis."

"Yes, you are," he replied brightly. "And just because it'll probably give the principal a fit to know that I'm encouraging my little sis to misbehave, I just want you to know I fully support you in this projet."

Then as a show of support, you should make sure that you spread the word."

"Damn right I will," Anders promised her, holding out a hand for a high five.

Savannah was happy to comply, after she unloaded the gun and set it down carefully.

"We rock," Anders told her. "And I very much approve of your gun safety techniques, too."

Savannah smiled. "I'm hoping to get better with them and figured the Winchesters wouldn't assist me with that goal unless I did use safety techniques."

"As your big brother, I would have to make lots of frowny faces at you if you didn't," Anders informed her solemnly. "And my best friend and technical roommate is Bridge Carson, so don't think I don't know how to make really effective frowny faces."

"I don't think I've met him. Is he cool?"

"He's the best," Anders promised. "Really fun guy, messy hair like me, wears gloves to keep his psychic powers under control. I think you'd like him."

"Oh neat, another male witch. Awesome."

"Oh, no, he's not a witch," Anders said quickly. "He's in training to be a cop. Just happens to be psychic, and one of the best people I know."
