Dealing with Stupid People [Monday, June 25, 2nd period]

"Okay, people this is gonna be a...thing...so I recommend coffee. Lots of coffee."

Josh, personally, was on his sixth cup.

"For your final class, I wanted to present you with a challenge." There was a dangerous spark in his eyes. "So I found a couple of special guests. Ladies and gentlemen, the Jerries!"

He hissed to the class, "Ixnay on talk about the overnmentgay."

This...should be something.

He spread his arms, "What did I say?"

Johnny cocked his head and gave Professor Lyman a look, "Their crazy right? Not stupid? Dealing with the crazy might be a touch hard for me. And hey, I didn't ask them about the government. Though I am thinking that the government might have something to do with their crazy status."

He sighed, "Fine, fine. I'll do my best to appease them. Won't be easy, but I'll try. Maaan!" What the hell is Wheatina? Johnny was afraid to ask.

The Jerries watched this conversation very intently.

"Look," whispered one Jerry to the other. "It's an interlude."

"He is monologuing!"

"That is so we, the audience, know his true motivations."

"He's the killer! I knew it!"

"He's the butler!"

"No! Brick is our butler!"

"We must call Brick at once!"

"Brick, our pregnant grandson!"

"We haven't given him his gift!"

"And it took so long to string together all of those plastic bags," sighed one Jerry.

Johnny planted his face in his hands for one minute before he tried to be civil.

Sighing, he said in an even tone, "I am not a killer nor the butler. I'm pretty sure that I'm not a Brick who is your pregnant grandson butler. But I will take a gift, just not strung together plastic bags. I have no where to put them and no use for them. You are generous to offer though. But I think it is my duty as a citizen to tell you that plastic bags can kill you."

"Jerry," said one Jerry very quietly. "Do you suppose he's talking to us?"

"I don't imagine why he would," whispered the other. "I've never seen him before in my life."

He blinked and looked at one Jerry then the other.

"Run! Run! The Goverment is coming to get you! Run for your very lives!"

Johnny gave him a reproachful look, unmindful of the glaring, "Man, I tried! Did you listen to them? What was I supposed to say? They're crazy! They're beyond crazy!" He was moving though. He moved way the hell over, he just had a hard time keeping his mouth shut.

"Maaan Come on!"

"Still crazy. Crazy even after I serve detention. I should have torched Henrietta."

"So!" Johnny said, standing and storming off. It was totally Lyman's fault for bringing in the crazies to have to deal with.

"This is bullshit!" he yelled and headed back to his dorm room.
