Arts & Crafts 6, Tuesday Afternoon

As usual, Steve was waiting for his workshoppers. Paper, pencils, and crayons were laid out on the tables, along with instruction sheets.

"Today," Steve began, "We're going to play around with something I'm very fond of: illustrations! I've provided some instructions to help get you started, but if you want to go beyond that, feel free. If you're one of those people who can barely draw stick figures, though, you might be better off sticking with the cartoonies. If you want any help or a second opinion, I'll be right here. Oh," he added after a moment, "as I'm sure most of you are already aware, next week is the last week of this workshop. You've been a great group, and we'll be having a special activity next week. Be sure to wear clothes you don't mind, er, ruining."

Michelangelo did a pretty good job drawing the square box to show off his artwork, but was somewhat perturbed when his baby chick turned out looking more like a disgruntled moose. Not cool.

Charlie was giggling, the second she saw Teddy's drawing. "If that's what I think it is, the ears are bigger."

Teddy looked at his drawing closely.

"You're right," He said, making them bigger. And then bulgy eyes for good measure. "So you've met Chad's precious baby, huh?"

"His Royal Highness?" Charlie snickered. "Yeah, I met him yesterday at Groovy Tunes. He's got a certain... something. As well as being demanding."

Setsuna was actually not a bad artist at all if she put her mind to it (years upon years of paper magic practise). Tongue poking out of the corner of her mouth in concentration, she was drawing her usual Edo-style samurai-esque theme. No princess in this one, though. Defititely two Tokugawa samurai, as they were reading something, or writing it, or...something. She wasn't bad, but it was still difficult to tell.

Ami was drawing the story of two talking cats. One was black one was white, and both had gold crescents on their foreheads.

Charlie was determined to get the penguin right. So there was a whole flock of them on a hillside, after only a short period of time. Some of their beaks might look more like a puffin's, or an owls, and some of them had weird upright plumage.

But hey, at least they weren't *dead* little penguins. The 'disturbing' art trend seemed to be over.

Although some of the penguin eyes looked a little stoned....
