Arts & Crafts 6, Tuesday Afternoon

As usual, Steve was waiting for his workshoppers. Paper, pencils, and crayons were laid out on the tables, along with instruction sheets.

"Today," Steve began, "We're going to play around with something I'm very fond of: illustrations! I've provided some instructions to help get you started, but if you want to go beyond that, feel free. If you're one of those people who can barely draw stick figures, though, you might be better off sticking with the cartoonies. If you want any help or a second opinion, I'll be right here. Oh," he added after a moment, "as I'm sure most of you are already aware, next week is the last week of this workshop. You've been a great group, and we'll be having a special activity next week. Be sure to wear clothes you don't mind, er, ruining."

Charlie looked over at Teddy's picture, and grinned again. "You should give him a little crown, so everyone knows he's a prince." She picked up another pencil, and gave the stoner penguin a comb of gold feathers on top of his head. Kind of like a Mohawk.

The resemblance forced her to draw a little brown leather vest on him, with a Harley symbol.

After a moment Teddy drew a helmet on the cat. Not quite a prince, more a soldier but it worked.

Mostly 'cause he had no clue what the crown Chad had in mind was supposed to look like.

"Sure!" Charlie grinned, then said, "Oh, and I'm Charlie. In case you missed my name here. And you're ... Teddy?"

"Nice to meet you too. I work at Groovy Tunes, some of the days that Chad's not there," she said. "He's pretty cool." Charlie giggled. "And totally loves his cat."
